Woodypc got a reaction from tom_w141 in New 1700 build, can not boot into Windows 10 after install..
This I the 3rd OS install, First I tried a fresh install, then win7 with 10 upgrade, and now another fresh 10 install. It installs perfectly fine, just can not get back into it.
Of course in MS great wisdom, it is not easy to install drivers in safe mode and I want to try and install chipset and another drivers to see if that helps.
    Thanks btw.

We have done well here in at about 72% renewable energy making, for a little country at the bottom of the world who no one else care about. We made a dam/hydro plant just to power a aluminium plant that make the best aluminium quality in the world.

    Hardware
    CASE:  Antec One Hundred
PSU: Cooler Master eXtreme Power 430W
    MB: Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3
    CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 555 @  3.6Ghz
    HS: Ultra-120 eXtreme Rev.C
    RAM: Strontium 2x 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz DIMM
    GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6570
FAN: Deepcool XFan 120 Case Fan 120mm Blue LED x4(Cheap and do the job for now)
    HDD 1: 1x 500GB Seagate Barracuda (OS)
    HDD 2: 1x 1TB WD Green
    HDD 3: 1x 2TB WD Green
    HDD 4: 2x 2TB Seagate Barracuda
HDD 5: 1x 3TB Seagate Barracuda (Parity drive)

    Software and Configuration:
My server is running Windows 7 and I am using StableBit DrivePool(Paid for it because it is awesome) to make my one big Pool that is shared for all on network to access. Parity is done using SnapRAID with the Elucidate GUI for ease of use, I hate command line lol, on the 3TB drive.
My main array consists of 5 drives which is 10TB of which 4 are in the Pool making 7TB and 3TB used for parity.
One 500GB drive is the boot drive and contains other software. This equals 10.5TB of total drives
Has software on it for many different things, it is connected to lounge TV, but is not used to watch media on it much, mainly used only to config when unable to use remote connection.
Has Plex media server, for serving media to devices, often is not used when on pcs though.

    Usage
Mainly used to backup everything, then used to distribute to all devices in the house/ on network.

    Additional info:
I made this using many old parts, the newest part is the 3TB drive so I could use parity. I have learnt a hell of a lot of stuff. I did everything as cheap as possible, I have little money atm, so most software is free and opensource, which I love. Took me ages to sort out file and get the server to where it is now, lots of little thing I do to it when I see something that could be improved. I am quite pleased with what I have done with what I have.

    Photo's:

It is a little messy but for now it works good. Will be updated and tidied up in the near future when I have some more money to trow at it. The fan on the CPU HS does not normally go( is on because of start up) when in use as the HS is big enough to just have the air flow in the case.

I am with Snap, came from Slingshot, I am right on the limit of VDSL2 as the cable goes a stupid way to get to my house . However I get very low errors, but it is still faster and also cheaper than the plan I was on so I am happy.

Stand your ground. Too much work for free and the possibility that they will complain if they think you didn't do a good enough job, people will say things to family that they wouldn't say to strangers. Tell them to get a professional and they it will be worth the money if they want awesome pics, and uploaded on the same day wtf are they thinking. Family can be complete a$$es.
