you'll be fine. Having any fan is better than no fan.

Just exercise caution of course with PSU's and make sure not to touch anything that could zap you.

hello there good sir. I would also look at the filters for the microphones within APO. a high pass filter is generally a good one to utilize I think, IRCC it basically makes sure that nothing below X threshold gets sent over the mic. So this means ambient noise, fans, or typing isn't picked up. Though you'll have to test it out.

easy solution just downclock your CPU and GPU. Maybe max out the frequency at 4 or 4.5 GHZ and see how that works.  Usually just doing that will improve temperatures tremendously without affecting performance too much. Same can be applied to the GPU so temperatures are also lowered.

that is super strange NGL. You could attempt to turn off any power saving options and making sure windows if you're running windows doesn't go into sleep mode VIA an admin command prompt

if you even worried, you could limit the max speed/frequency the CPU uses for even less temps w/o much loss in performance. Even limiting the frequency to 4.5GHZ or 4.2GHZ wouldn't net much loss in performance while still lowering temperatures substantially.

I've done that with my I7 11700F with a 3rd party aftermarket cooler for big drops in temps by 10 degrees C

I actually updated the bios to the karat version just prior to reading your reply. Seems to have fixed the issue up to this point. All the drivers I have installed related to the chipset are all from gigabytes website for the board.

It appears the Bios update resolved the issue.

you can get a clone software, but you would first need a USB to NVME adapter then let the software do its job.

like this then select "Clone disk" then you select the disk you wanna clone too and don't forget to "expand" the sizes so the whole disk is used.

Try reinstalling it again and put some electrical tape down to hold it into place. Checking w google says it's the same size as what your laptop has which is size 2280

perhaps there is a BIOS option to turn on that specific slot perhaps? Also did you try disk management and seeing if the drive was assigned a letter?

if you don't have anything installed right now. Just reinstall windows on your SSD only. Not sure why the system partiton was sent to the HDD I never had that happen before.

AFAIK about moving the partition to another drive.... I haven't heard of that working very cleanly...

When it comes to selling...most of the time people won't buy it at face value nor at whatever value you put it... you're better off parting the crap outta your PC and making dough that way.  You probably might get 1000$~ but not 1700 nor 1800. Maybe if you're patient you could make 1200 or 1300$. But most people are not gonna buy another persons build unless it is "Fancy" to say the least.

Considering someone could build a cheaper build w almost all of those parts being cheaper for 1K

    Yes 100%

Just put a small penny sized or pea sized glob on the CPU and install, no need to spread.
