A really old man (worst example EVER), was comming to our pc store because he bought a pc that didn't work.
he plugged it in, and nothing worked.
    ...
he didn't push the power button...
that said, he came back. the screen is still black.
same freaking reason. he did not turn the darn thing on, we had to draw out the symbol of a on/off switch, i walked to the back and laughed reeeaaally hard i allmost cried, 3 times in a row (first for the not working pc, second for the not working monitor and third for the actual drawing) XD
this has really happened :P but the guy was old (75?) and probably has never used an electrical device in his whole life (country side).
that was the least tech savvy person i have ever encountered.

... no it wont affect perfromance, but it does affect silence.
PWM fans can run at lower speeds. but thats about it.
its a great solution for heatsinks, but not for casefans.

Fordox got a reaction from Wh0_Am_1 in Distilled Water vs Pre-mixed Coolant
Premix coolant is the best option.
You allways have the best mix of biocides and anti-corrosive additives, and this also comes in a clear form for those "lazy bastards" who dont want to clean their loop.
And the test from EKWB on their bad nickel plating (corrosion of some sort), resulted in no corrosion with the premix and the distilled water was the worst.
    its a lot easier ;)
