A new PSU to replace the old one, I had been using for the past decade or so. New one brings me up to specs with ATX 3.0, PCIe 5, and the must have features in a new PSU, them 12VHPWR melting connectors!  /s

Both are being label as C is because you've cloned it or bios is acting up and don't know which drive you want to use. When 2 drives are connected and both have their own windows install on it. The drive that's boot from will be label as drive C.

They're tech support. Not a technician. They might be trained to refer to it as a power cable/cord. They may be calling it how they see it. Additionally, these tech support individuals aren't engineers. They're regular people trained a certain way.

If you know what the customer support personal is saying, just follow their steps. They're trying to help you solve your problems not for you to show them, that you're better, cause you have more technical vocabulary under your belt. This isn't a competition of who knows more. Want to do that, then ask them to transfer you to someone who's more higher up. Let them speak to you in technical term defined by the IEEE or some other standards, and they would probably use terms you probably won't even understand.

All this and you didn’t explain the context.

new thread: “Wow, Posters are funny”

This guy came in and posted trying to talk about a miscommunication between them and someone else. No matter how many people asked for more context they just wouldn’t give it. I don’t know how they expected to get real answers when people were still having to guess what the miscommunication truly was.
They couldn’t even take the time to explain what was being worked on, what tech support was exactly saying. They just kept saying “PSU” or “USB cable” when talking about the power cable.

Wait, burning CDs is a retro novelty now?

Used to be you could buy all of those things at your local big-box store. Just order a USB DVD burner and CD-Rs off Amazon. You'll probably get a better price for jewel cases on eBay, and you'll be able to find printable jewel case label templates online. (Not sure if the Avery sheets for that are still in production, but they probably are.) Don't bother with those "CD stamper" printable paper labels if you happen to come across them; they were crap 20 years ago and they're still crap now.

(you could also use a cheaper cpu for a try, I'd be your neighbour I'd gladly lend you mine for a try)

Do you have anything connected to the rear IO when you try booting it? The first few results I found for that error say something about backfeeding power into the DisplayPort port.

There was this saying, a man bought his car to the mechanic cause it would not start. The mechanic took a look at it, then went to grab a hammer, and bang on the car, and the car started. Mechanic charge the man an invoice of $1000. The man was shocked and said, what, you charged me $1000 for all you did was use a $1 hammer, I could have done it myself! The mechanic said, the hammer cost $1, but knowing where to hit cost $999, so the total is $1000.

A few while ago I replaced the polarizers on my car audio's screen.
After some nights asking here & learning stuffs, I replaced it myself. Costed me $1.5 for parts, $1.5 for tools.
I've seen some videos my friend sent of nearby repair shops replacing it, and I can say I have a way better minimum work standard even as a DIY-er.
And too bad for them, I am quite a good & fast learner.

If some stranger ask me to do it for them after all I learned DIY-ing it? I'm gonna charge them at least $20. Double if they want me to finish it within a day.
Why? Because at the very least, I have better work standard than nearby repair shop of course.
To the point that I am willing to guarantee the polarizers will only be off angled by up to 1 degree. (Yes, turns out even 1.5 degrees off can have quite an impact on picture quality, by my standard of course).

I get money, they get to spend their time doing whatever they enjoy instead of learning & trying to do repair.
And after it's all done, they get to enjoy their stuffs once more.
If something went wrong with the repair, they get to blame me, instead of themselves. And I get to fix it or replace it anew for them, for free.

IMO, You're basically comparing the cost of making a burger at home with buying a burger at a 4 star fine dining restaurant here.
