  1. With the smart cart interaction is more than you can ever imagine *Grabs cart, and the smart display plays a jingle* *Then appears an unknown person who greets you by saying they will be your personal cashier for the day. YAY!* *Then they will start doing small talk and stare at you the whole time as you shop, with their POV like the Dell nose cam*
  2. Smart cart will still rely on the 1000 employees. All items must be waved in front of the smart screen so they can manually tally them up as you shop. Most places have a designated place for shopping carts. I'm thinking that will be hooked up to a power source and there will be guided tracks for the cart wheels to sit on so it gets charge wirelessly.
  3. Amazon Go with its Walkout technology that was introduced a while back, where customer with an Amazon account can simply walk in, take what they need and walk out has ended. The shopping experience may be convenient as you won't have to wait for the check out line, but it actually Amazon is going to replace their Walkout technology with what they called Dash Cart, which is a Gizmodo (article link)
  4. There is no need to send proof. Just file a RMA and send it in for a replacement. The person who told you to send proof wants you to open it, so it voids your warranty, but most importantly you can seriously hurt yourself
  5. Most of these, how much watts you really need in a PSU is they will never run the PSU they claim that's enough. It's always the same, ~alL YoU neED Is A 650w or LesS~ and yet they're testing this with a 1K watt psu. I have yet seen a person brave enough to test out their claims.
  6. A new PSU to replace the old one, I had been using for the past decade or so. New one brings me up to specs with ATX 3.0, PCIe 5, and the must have features in a new PSU, them 12VHPWR melting connectors! /s
  7. Yes, some old CRT do have touch screen.
  8. I've heard of updates killing off 3rd party cartridges, but this is the first time I'm hearing unsubscribing form their instant ink, will also cause the printer to stop working, even when one can still go and buy HP inks from the store. Instant ink is optional, don't really have to signed up for it when you got that printer.
  9. If your system has a m.2 slot, can try connecting the drive directly to that. Could be the cable, change cable.
  10. I would wait until the Ryzen 8000 series gets released and then decide on which CPU to get. They come out at the end of this month.
  11. I don't think that CPU 40mm section is going to interfere with the ram. Ram will most likely fall under the 60mm part, which would give plenty of clearance room. Raise fan if you have to, if ram and cpu cooler are interfering.
  12. Looks like the meaning of low profile for ram has definitely changed with the times. The lower profile rams of now are basically standard height. True low profile rams are much shorter, around 18mm in height vs 30mm in height found on standard ones.
  13. You bought ASRock B360M PRO4 and an i7-9700K, and got a i5 7500T. Did they give you the wrong CPU or someone gave you a i5 7500T and you would like to use it for another build? For the Core i5 7500T, will need to get a motherboard running on socket 1151, and uses the Intel 100 or 200 series chipset, which that supports that CPU.
  14. Most will let you adjust your drive size to use the full capacity and not be the same as your original drive size.
  15. Both are being label as C is because you've cloned it or bios is acting up and don't know which drive you want to use. When 2 drives are connected and both have their own windows install on it. The drive that's boot from will be label as drive C.
  16. Take a look at PayPal goods and services. This may protect you as the seller and that person as the buyer.
  17. If you know what the customer support personal is saying, just follow their steps. They're trying to help you solve your problems not for you to show them, that you're better, cause you have more technical vocabulary under your belt. This isn't a competition of who knows more. Want to do that, then ask them to transfer you to someone who's more higher up. Let them speak to you in technical term defined by the IEEE or some other standards, and they would probably use terms you probably won't even understand.
  18. My Asus board when booting will show a series of debug codes, but once the board is fully POST, the code (forgot what it is) says static and will not change. How is the reseller testing your board, did they explain why they claim the board is working fine?
  19. The unit OP has looks like it uses laptop based components so I would assume the power cable won't be similar to one one we see in standard desktops. I'm leaning more towards something like a ribbon cable you'll find in laptops. For the gold connector, I do agree, even if it doesn't connect to anything on OP's card, HP should still need to handle it with extra care. Specs for OP's system is a Core i9 10900 and a Nvidia Quadro P620. Maybe there is a newer gen of the same GPU, but I'm more learning towards the manager BSing on that part. The newer GPU OP got for downgrading from a Core i9 to a Core i7, is still the one that was in from before, Nvidia Quadro P620. As for the CPU, Core i9 10900 is a desktop socket CPU. If the tech that did the fix knows exactly what they are doing, they could've just install the CPU onto the new motherboard, unless HP has somehow permanently attached it to the motherboard, where it cannot be taken out. Okay it's a socket CPU (skip to 17:55), the tech can easily have OP keep their Core i9. Forget the manager who forced OP to downgrade a Core i9 to a Core i7.
  20. Based on the label form your unit, it says it comes with a 3 year warranty. Warranty starts from date of purchase not from date of manufacturing. If your unit is still under warranty they could've just given you a whole new replacement. BTW have you even gone to the HP's site to see if it's still under warranty or not. The HP tech they sent over, they pulled out your component and then put it back together. What components? Did that tech brought spare components with them or did they just pull everything out of your original unit, then put it back together in hopes of a miracle that it will start working again? So they've conclude the issue with your unit not working is the power switch, so they don't have a spare switch with them and have to come back a 2nd time. So 2nd time comes they have a new power switch and yet your unit it still not working. They ask you for assistance?! Why would a "certified" tech need to ask a consumer for assistance?! This definitely looks like, that person have absolutely no idea what they are doing, because if they actually do know what they're doing, they would have not need to visit you the 2nd time. They would have came to your place well prepared by having their parts tested before hand. They could have easily bring at least one or 2 of the same unit you have as spares for troubleshooting or simply just give you that replacement, if your unit is still under warranty. Manager lacks patience and should resign from her position cause this person can't seem to handle any sort of pressure. This person also lacks the technical knowledge, when dealing with something like this. So your forced to downgrade from an Core i9 to a Core i7 in for a "better" GPU and they claim to be a newer generation. I highly doubt you got a new generation of the same GPU. More like the exact same GPU as before but now you've got a much weaker processor than what you've originally paid for. Your original is a Core i9 10900 and the replacement is a Core i7. Assuming it's from the same generation and same model number, So Core i9 10900 is replaced with an Core i7 10700, it has way less cores and much slower frequency. See here for comparison. The gold parts that's rubbed off really isn't wired to anything so it shouldn't affect the GPU, but the physical bent, is definitely a problem, it shouldn't be bent like that.
  21. Unplug cord from your PSU wait a bit then then try again.
