  1. Rig: My first computer built by me CPU: Intel i5 - 4690K (Base Clock) GPU: Asus GTX 970 (Base Clock) RAM: 8 GB DDR3 HyperX Memory Score: 6.6
  2. Well for games if you lose 6 bucks it not so big deal Bought 2 games there, but OS does seem sketchy
  3. Thanks. https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/2sxvuz/why_g2acom_isnt_as_trustworthy_as_they_seem Really helped. So in the end you get your Win8.1 key, but just most certanly not good and usuable one in the long run. Pay more and get it form trustwordy store. Topic closed. Thanks a lot.
  4. So in other words you are saying that for games it is somewhat good but for OS better not risk it?
  5. You sure. A year bk ppl said in one of the topic that all is good with Win8.1 keys from G2A.
  6. So I have this idea. G2A sells Win8.1 Pro for about 40€. I have bought few games from G2A and all is good. Now im thinkign that does it work or is it good idea to buy Win8.1 key, install the OS and then upgrade it to Win10? And second question on the subject :if all works and I want to format in future, then how hard is it? Which key should I use? EDIT Conclusion: So in the end not good idea. Look https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/2sxvuz/why_g2acom_isnt_as_trustworthy_as_they_seem/ if you have also had good experience with games from G2A. OS is completly different thing to buy. Hope it helps who are still wondering. Buy it from store to be sure.
  7. That week that was going in editing that episode was well spent
  8. Good to see you guys grow and make good decisions. Vessel seems great, but yea I must agree with others this point - no option to choose quality. I personally don't care about 4k, but I cannot even see FullHD, only blur. But I am sure Vessel will fix that in future and I really look forward to it. You guys have inspired me so much that I even might start my own tech business where I live, but it's going to be rocky road. Keep it up guys and enjoy your work

  10. Keep up the good work LinusTechTips. As long as I can see your new review/video every day in Full-HD, I don't care which service you are going to use. Also I kinda watch your videos also cos I can get a smile on my face when you make jokes or just purely suck at them And mostly cos you wont suck up to firms who give you stuff. If you guys hate it, you will tell about it to us, but you always bring out pros and cons no matter what and I appreciate it.
  11. Well it is not quite decided yet. Main reason why he wants a laptop is so he can carry it and he does not have so much money cos he is young. There are some other reasons too, so it maybe wasn't the greatest example by me... But still, I tried to make a point that PC is usually better. And I did mention room factor. In that perspective laptop is better than console every way cos it has its own screen, speakers and also keyboard for full control and it usually is quite small. He really would want a desktop PC, but he just don't have the room or money. He mostly plays casual games and needs it for school. Altho yea, you are absolutely right about desktop being better than laptop. But that's again completely different discussion Also I remembered one con that isn't mentioned for PC - you also need to buy a mouse, keyboard, speakers and monitor. That adds money even if your PC is only 400$. But on the other hand you need a monitor or TV for console. Just thought I will bring it up.
  12. Well I am more of a PC guy, but I don't hate consoles. Still, I would not recommend console for anyone. In fact few weeks ago I talked my friend down not to buy PS4... So now he decided to go with laptop. Luke pointed out some good pros and cons in the video. Someone may like console pros and also cons more and decide to go with that. But realistically PC is almost always better way to go. Also there is room factor, that game device - console or PC - may take. I know that you can now build insanely small PC-s yourself and it's so cool, but it requires some moderate level of skill and some knowledge and also it has bigger price tag if you let it build by someone else. In the end it all comes to preference, because if someone is console fanboy then you may argue that PC-s are better but it just won't matter to true fanboy.
  13. It made me laugh hard. Altho I would be really interested in more of this troll. Like is there some behind the scenes? Did Luke really trolled them or told them afterwards what was going on? I want to see it so I can laugh more
  14. Great idea for a video/s. I like it. Also it was pleasing to see, that I am not the only person resellers think are stupit in hardware lol. I feel sorry for Linus, great comedy
