Jellepepe got a reaction from ZakGray in Need help quick with BSOD
did you reinstall windows when getting the new machine? if not, thats why its no longer genuine (windows doesn't like you switching mobo/cpu) this may also have been your original problem as the drive might have some conflicting drivers installed or whatever..

On the stick... Blow off any debris from the slot...
Do the same for the graphics card...

Jellepepe got a reaction from vlkn´ in CPU overheating troubles
you can actually get a pc capable of running mincraft at comfterable fps and resolution for as little as 350$-400$
to get back to the issue, if you feel the laptop itself, does it feel really hot? it might just be the temp reader that somehow broke... if it is actually getting this hot, i'd advice you to replace the thermal paste, either by opening it yourself and cleaning the existing off with a cloth drenched in alcohol and applying a small dot of high quality thermal compound, or by taking it to a local hardware repair shop (though not all shops will do this for you..)

try this/\ if possible please check if another drive is detected to rule out a board or cable defect.. if you've tried a few cables and have AHCI enabled the drive should show up inthe bios, if not, its probably dead and i'd advice you to return it

OP please do NOT download this software. iobit are very widely known for infecting people with malware and are just a fishy company in general. Diver update programs can seriously mess up your PC to the point of operating system corruption so bad you are forced to wipe and reinstall.
It is really best and safest to install drivers manually or by ONLY using software provided directly from the manufacturer.

Jellepepe got a reaction from BaSkA in Upgrading Graphics card in my pc
i actually really like the gigabyte design and the blue led works well with my build.. and i have a very good airflow so the big windforce cooler should work really well... so as long as there isn't another version that's considerably better i'll get the gigabyte
