As far as ChatGPT and Copilot are concerned, it comes down to which dataset they were trained on and whether it contained any useful information in that regard to begin with. These tools don't do research when you ask a question like this.

The best you can hope for is a somewhat accurate summary of the data that was used to train these LLMs. Oversimplifying a bit, LLMs are statistical models that pick the most likely words based on your prompt. There is zero guarantee that this results in factually correct information.

That said, a direct conversion between the salary of one country to another country's currency isn't particularly useful to begin with. You need to take the cost of living in that country into account. It may seem like the salary is high, but if the cost of living is equally high or even higher your average Japanese citizen might actually have less disposable income than a citizen from Denmark, despite the numbers being higher.

I completely agree, but that 's all beside the point.
The error doesn't stem from the data regarding salary.

The error is in the conversion. Copilot is apparently making mistakes in conversion.
Average monthly salary it finds to be 318.300 YEN ~ 14.400 DKK ~2100 $USD (correct conversion)

But Copilot calculates as follows and somehow comes up with 1.398.052 DKK (about 203k $USD) / Month 😛 ! Astronomical monthly salary.

    As far as I can see, it's because it's using 1 JPY = 0.66 USD, while it's actually 1 JPY = 0.066 USD

Which also makes the salary 100 times smaller, and much more realistic.

Correct, if it's on the same drive/filesystem as your Windows installation a clone will clone everything including the OS.

If you only want to save your mods what you could do, if you use Nexus Mods and Vortex, is create a mod collection. Using your current mod profile Vortex has an option to create a mod collection, which allows you to share it with others or yourself to set up the exact same mods on any computer. It comes in handy for doing stuff like this or if you want the same mods on multiple computers. I've used it to move my mod collection for Fallout 4, Skyrim, and RDR2 to different computers when needed.

I ended up doing this. And for offsite mods, you can link to external mod sites.

For those available on login sites I used dropbox for my own personal use :P!

What @Kinda Bottlenecked suggested. Use Macrium Reflect Home or Aomei Partition Assistant if your new SSD doesn't come with a free software for cloning.

But then I'm kind of forced to clone windows over as well, right?
Because it would be really nice with a fresh clean install of windows 11.

  4. Hi guys!

So I have a heavily modded skyrim - Steam version, using nexusmods + offsite mods (zip files) managed by Vortex Mod Manager.
I want to upgrade my storage to a 2tb M.2. SSD and would love to avoid having to reinstall all mods / decide mod installation conflicts and load order again for 650 mods.

Could you guys let me now what options there are to do this?
How would you do it in the most hassle-free way?

I posted it under general, because it's not about skyrim per-say, more about mod managing during hardware update?

I clean uninstalled the drivers in safe mode, reinstalled them, it changed nothing, on games like call of duty lowest settings I run with 30 fps, before I had that problem I ran it around 100 fps, fortnite used to run 144 fps steady on medium settings, now im on low settings and I run 80 barely, im keeping track of it and its using only 210 MHz on my GPU, I just dont know anymore, I really need help identifying the problem...

Try updating the laptops motherboard firmware drivers. Maybe the PCI controller needs an update.

I had actually been looking into one of these to replace the infotainment system in my car that requires me to buy a stupidly expensive SD card with an already outdated map from 2021, since it would be nearly the same price.

Just to be sure, everything technically "works", just the parking button does nothing / parking sensors don't do anything? You say you hear beeping, is that only from the back camera and not the sensors? Are you 100% sure they are connected properly? Did you perhaps pull on the wire when initially disconnecting it, causing a loose connection?
It could also just be because this feature that was built-in on your car isn't supported by what you've bought. I don't see anything in the product page that would suggest this to work. But I'm guessing the parking sensors are related to the fact you don't see the distance when backing up.

Edit : Just bought one (4G 64G AHD DVR model). Why am I impulse buying on a monday morning even though there's red flags all around. God damn it. Spent $30 more than I would've buying a stupid navigation data, but hopefully it should be better... And I get a dashcam, which I wanted.

To clarify, I've connected everything, no wire has been torn apart.
The car has a built-in parking sensors. They showed up on the old original radio and showed the distance to objects.
There is a built-in speaker in the car rear somewhere, that beeps.

With the new radio, the car still beeps at distance, so the sensors and its internal systems are working just fine. The radio just doesn't pick up the signal through canbus for some reason.

From what I could read, devices from different places in the world might not know what to do with the signal due to the "translation box" that comes with the radio, which is already wired to the radio and canbus.

So I guess I'll have to live without that feature or get another radio later on. for 200$ it's not too bad.

Good things about it, it's basically a samsung galaxy tab 6
It has playstore, so you can install apps like netflix, youtube, spotify
As soon as you turn on hotspot on your phone (wifi share) the radio acts like a tablet, so you basically don't need android auto anymore, if all you do is hear spotify, watch videos and use google maps.

If you want to be able to have the whole android auto feature, you need to somehow wire the usb cables out from it and plug in your phone to USB, in which case it they goes into an app called ZLINK which acts as android auto. What the featureset of this is, I haven't really looked much into, but it seems a bit cheap and janky, so I don't use it.

  7. Hi all,

I bought this infotainment system which basically runs android on a samsung galaxy Tab 6.
It's all connected just fine through canbus etc. like normal.

Only problem is that the parking sensors aren't properly picked up.

Putting the car in reverse, pull up the camera+car sensor distance screen. (Camera not implemented)
The car beeps as it should, but the distance isn't shown on the screen.
The car also has a specific Parking button. Pressing it doesn't make the screen react in any way.

So somehow the infotainment system can't pick up the parking sensors, even through all plugs are connected just like on the old original SKODA radio.
    Any ideas?

  8. I found out what the slightly higher temps could be.
The cooler wasn't making ideal contact apparently. The temp changes are now less sudden and my IDLE is down to 40C
Load temp is around 73C with the same 1700RPM fan speeds.. So it helped a tiny bit 🤣

I had accidentally switched around the brackets and installed them wrong, apparently they're not symmetrical:
