  1. So here's what I've come up with. Mobo: Asus H61M-F £39 RAM: Corsair Veneance 1x8GB £50 HDD: 1TB WD Blue £43 Case: Fractal Design Core 1000 £25 GPU: GTX 960 £155 Mouse+Keyboard: Sumvision Nemesis Kane £14 Monitor: BenQ GL2250HM £91 Windows 7 £67 Total is £484 I just need the power supply now though I don't really know much about which ones are good or how powerful it would need to be for this system. My brother's able to put a bit more money into the computer so don't worry too much about the price of the power supply.
  2. Yeah I knew it'd be a tough one, I'm usually quite good with this sorta thing, but at his budget I thought I'd best ask around to get all the help I could on this, thanks for your help
  3. That and a copy of windows, sorry I forgot to mention that, oh and a motherboard, would've been more specific in the post if I wasn't this sleepy when typing it
  4. So my younger brothers birthday is coming up and wants me to build him a gaming PC. With money he's saved up and his birthday money coming soon, I'll have about £500 to splash on the computer components, a monitor and a mouse and keyboard. A friend is giving me his old CPU (I3 3220, socket 1155) a heat sink (all I know about it is that it's a Zalman one) and a couple of case fans (120mm and 82mm) so I don't need to worry about getting them, though I could do with some help on choosing the rest of the parts. He wants to be able to play newer high end games (Cod, GTA, that sorta thing) so I wanna try to get the most value out of this system that I can for its price. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks.
