Hi there. I know I might have some people judge me but I was trying to look for answers online but I came up short, there was nothing I found. Theres an upgrade kit with an MSI Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON USB 3.1 Motherboard + Intel Core i5 7600K 4.2GHz CPU + Crucial 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM Red with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Cooler for free. But I checked my PC Case specs which supports 155mm CPU Coolers and the previously mentioned cooler is 160mm. Or I could go for the Cooler Master Hyper 212x Cooler which stands at 158mm, still too tall for my case. So my question is, is it possible to "crush/squash" the mentioned coolers the 5mm or 3mm respectfully? And if so, is it recommendable to do it??

Good day all members. It is Christmas time yet again and prices are lower on PC components. With some cash saved up I'll be able to upgrade my system a bit! FINALLY! But I'm just wondering if it would be a smart move. My system has an i5 3340 CPU and a MSI R9 270 Gaming GPU as seen in my profile. I have been looking at my games and it seems my GPU needs to be upgraded fairly soon as its showing its age. I'm sure I would like to order the MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X model since its very promising in terms of performance on the games I play (DOOM, Battlefield 4, Skyrim and more). Indeed this would be bottlenecked by my CPU so I'm still undecided on this upgrade. I would like your thoughts on this issue. EG: but how much will my GPU be bottlenecked and is it worth it now or should I wait until I can upgrade the CPU to an i5 6500 with the GTX 1060. Many thanks.

Hi there. At this moment I'm looking into getting a SSD for my Gaming Rig and I have two tough contestants between the Samsung 750 EVO 250GB SATA 3 or the SanDisk X400 250GB SATA 3. They both have the same write/read speeds and the only difference I can see is the 3 and 5 year respectfully. I'm wondering what your opinions are.

Wassup members of L.T.T. forums. I am in a little bit of a pickle about choosing the right gaming mouse for me. I am currently using the Genius X-G510 Gaming Mouse which is showing its age for sometime now. I have finalized it to 3 options and these 3 are best gaming mice I am able to order. In no particular order they are: Logitech G302 Daedalus Prime MOBA Gaming Mouse, or Speedlink Dacus Gaming Mouse and last but not least Steelseries Rival 100 Gaming Mouse. I mainly play FPS games such as Counterstrike: Global Offensive, DOOM and Battlefield 4 among TES V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. Please help me with making this decision ^-^

Hi there. I am looking for a cheap but yet good looking case that is available in South Africa. So far I am liking the Thermaltake Versa H21 as it looks good, nice cable manage and for its price, it beats some other ATX and Micro ATX Cases. I went to the following link which reviews this case very nicely and is not biased. http://www.tech-critter.com/2014/10/unboxing-review-thermaltake-versa-h21.html Please tell me if I am making a mistake in this choice and perhaps recommend another case.

The following specs is of my current PC Build which I'm getting ready to retire. But I need one final question for this PC, How much should I sell it for?. I'll only be selling my PC Tower. Intel Core i5 3340-Ivy Bridge 3.1GHz Quad Core, Foxconn H61MX Socket 1155 LGA, 6GB 1333MHz ADATA DDR3 RAM, Nvidia Geforce GT 630 Gainward 2GB Edition, 500GB Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive, LPG9-25 450W Power Supply, DVD Reader/Writer OD and lastly a Standard Office PC Case. I am in South Africa which uses the Rand Currency but with your intelligent guesses would be taken into consideration. Thank you.

Thank you guys so much. And yes Captain_WD, I am going for the WD 1TB Blue HDD only because I'm from South Africa and my budget is quite low. I have also see recently my computer is slow at times, especially at start up. Much appreciated and soon I'm able to purchase the new HDD. ^^

Hello peoples, I have been looking to replace my Hard Drive as it is just about full and I am going for another HDD just for the financial side. I'm just wondering if I were to replace my old 500 GB Seagate Hard Drive to a new 1 TB Seagate, would make a noticeable difference in speed for my PC games. If you have any knowledge behind me question, please write below. Thanks. ^^
