  1. These look sick, the Feenix Nascita Mouse just looks so sexy!
  2. Already looking at building another one (but learning from this build), but looking to use the Asus Gene VIII as its mostly black with red and grey accents which I will spray paint to the theme. Just looking for my next tiny case and what colour theme to use Oh and I may throw a 6700k and 980 Ti in there for giggles
  3. Hi all, thought I'd share my finished PC with you all. This is my first ever build using acrylic tubing and I thought, "why not try acrylic tubing in a tiny case?" I've always loved the Corsair Air 240 and so the challenged began, how to fit all this hardware in a small case with hardpipe water cooling... Specs Case: Corsair Air 240 PSU: Corsair AX860i Motherboard: Asus Gene VII CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k Ram: 32Gb Corsair Platinum Dominator Graphics Card: MSI GTX970 System Disk: 2x Samsung 850 Pro 512Gb (Raid 0) Storage: 4Tb Western Digital Black CPU Waterblocks: EK-Supremacy EVO Radiator: EK-CoolStream XE 240 Reservoir: XSPC Photon 170 Pump: EK-DCP 2.2 X-RES Tubing: Monsoon Hardline Acrylic Tube Fittings: Monsoon Chain Gun Hardline Fluid: Mayhems Pastel - Ice White Coolant I sadly lost all the images from my SLR Camera as I dropped the SD card in a glass of soft drink However I was able to upload some of the images from my phone so sorry about the lack of quality of the actual build process Anyway hope you like it guys, let me know what you think as I'm tempted to start my next hardpipe build... just don't know what colour theme I should use...I'm thinking either green or purple, yep, purple

  5. When you find the time dude, hit me up if you ever need help with anything, happy to debug stuff or help with your studies.
  6. I'm sure this has been done a thousand times before, but could easily stress test 2 identical systems and monitor temps under a standard push and push-pull to see which is the winner, if any. Should keep me busy for 20 mins to set it up and then check back in a few hours / days lol
  7. I'm a fully qualified software engineer and am doing a remote PhD with MIT, so know a little about coding already Been coding in house software for years but writing Windows applications or game addons can only keep you occupied for so long Thanks for the suggestion tho
  8. Hi all, as the topic header suggests, I'm really bored at work and on the last WAN Show when Linus mentioned about doing a long testing project to test which air flow is best at minimizing dust build up, I thought, "Hey why couldn't I think of something like that because I'm bored as hell in work,". So basically I'm asking if there's anything people would like me to test. I'm an IT Manager at the moment and have a crazy amount of tech available (and time apparently) to do testing and alike, whether it be a long project like Linus mentioned or a small one. Please give me something to do (and no peeling potatoes is not an option here ) I'm away now over the next few days but will check this early next week and will start to test some stuff.... if there's any lol
  9. Well done guys, no matter where your content goes, I'll be there

    Apple iCar?

I'm not one for rumors but reading an article this morning, I thought I'd throw it up here to see what other peoples thought's are. http://www.pcpro.co.uk/computing/1000397/is-apple-building-an-icar http://www.vox.com/2015/2/16/8043673/apple-car-icar Maybe you'll come to the same thoughts are me, "Apple Electric car.... get the battery right in the watch first," Closely knitted to this however, Apple have developed in dash system. https://www.apple.com/ios/carplay/
  11. To spray paint a motherboard or not... :P

  12. This idea is freaking amazing! I currently run several machines in work, so I'm even toying with the idea of doing the same... but the main question is, if I do go ahead with this idea on long it will take me to move this idea on to our servers
  13. I never really post on forums and alike, I even think this is like my first or second post on the LTT forum but I really love this kind of stuff! I personally think its idea's like this and the whole room water cooling, is the stuff that really makes this channel 1 step above all the others. Yes the quality is fantastic with the use of 4k recording but pushing the tech to the limit with modding and alike really makes all the difference in my opinion. I have 2 very good rigs that I use (my daily driver and my little pocket rocket of a lan PC), but I'm seriously considering this mod on my next x99 upgrade which will more than likely happen in the next few weeks/months. I may take a little longer with the "prep" of the motherboard and I'll more than likely paint 1 port at a time while using a cheap component installed into the port before spraying. I think this would reduce the risk a little. So the point I'm making is, if you hate this idea, that's fine, you're welcome to your opinion but respect that there's some people like myself which freaking love it! Keep up the awesome work guys, looking forward to the next "crazy" idea
  14. Knowing my luck, I'd end up winning, even though I've just bought 2 Asus Strix 980's for SLI'ing.... mind you, I wouldn't be complaining
