  1. I already had the Hx750 when i moved over to Mitx, and its not like its some super overkill 1000w or anything. It's a really nice PSU that i wont have to upgrade for a really long time.
  2. One of the best Mitx chassis in my opinion besides the node 304, but the node doesnt support extended PSU's with long graphic cards so I went with the elite 130
  3. I already had the GPU and had no reason tp upgrade it when i got the CPU and Mobo. I'm going to order some supplies to make shorter cables and some sleeving soon to help pretty up the inside of the case a little bit
  4. Had to tear apart my build to install something so i figured that i would take a few pictures while I reassembled it. CPU: 4770k Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI impact GPU: Asus 770 Ram: G.Skill 2133 8gb PSU: Corsair HX750 Cooling: H80i
  5. Does anyone know if you can remove the 5.25 bay that is in the corsair elite 130? I have no use for it and it is just unnecessary clutter in the already limited space.
  6. I want to help him but im not really sure what he is doing
  7. If you have all that money to spend please buy a professional set of headphones and not something that teenagers buy to wear around their neck so they can look cool. Maybe get a nice external dac too. Besides that everything looks pretty good, Please make a buildlog of this if this is actually going to be built, i think everyone would like to see something so overkill and awesome.
  8. I would say that 4gb ram would be plenty for just a simple server. If you have the money to go for more ram i guess you could but it may never even be used but could be good for the future
  9. If you plan on doing this i would just make a regular desk, and not build one of the desks that also function as a pc case.
  10. Hey everyone, I'm in the middle of building a pfsense router right now and when i went to install it onto the build it said that there was no operating system on the memstick. so i tried all the other version of PFSense and i got the same thing every time.. Wondering if anyone knows what the proper version of it is since i cant seem to find the one that works for me.
  11. Hell everyone, Soon I am going to be building a new PFSense box for my home network and i was wondering if you guys could give me your advice/criticism. Parts list: HDD: Some old latop 256gb already have Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-S2 already have CPU: AMD 6100, i think i might try to clock it down and passively cool it. already have GPU: Probably an old 520 that i have or 7770, or i could just use nothing. Nic: SYBA SY-PEX24028 x2 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833328022 ) Dont have PSU: Leftover 600w OS: PFSense Ram: Old set of 4gb 1600 (already have) If there is anything you think that i should change let me know, thanks everyone.
  12. Does anyone know of a place where i could buy 100ft of cat 6. all i could find is 1000ft and i dont think i would ever use all of that. If there isnt ill probably just buy this 100ft in cut the ends off and cut it into the sizes that i want. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812576103
  13. hello everyone, Recently i ordered a set of 2133mhz ram and when i installed it i opened up speccy and it said the speeds where around 1000. So i checked online about the ram and i read that you had to enable xmp profiles in the ram so i did that and set the speed to the advertised speed on the ram. 9-11-11-31. After i did that i went back in to speccy and it said that the ram was running at 1070. So i downloaded a ram speed tester app for windows 8 and ran it a few times and got around 1040. Anyone know what is going on?
  14. This looks really good, nice job
  15. Just go check out some other water cooling build logs and check out how they have their loops organized, most people usually do their loops pretty much the same with very few, if any differences. The only thing that is weird with your loop is the way you have to gpus
  16. gta iv has always run pretty bad but i feel like you should be getting more than 50fps
  17. Personally i think the loop needs to be changed around a bit, bigger clear tubing, white pastel coolant. I think it would look good if you where to do that. But it isnt my build and you can do whatever you want.
  18. This is amazing, i wish there was more about this.
  19. since it is just a mining rig, i would run with no case and just put like a big 200mm fan or two on the table will cool it down a lot.
  20. What about those 780i 6gb that are coming out? Im sure one or two of those would be pretty damn good for sorround gaming.
