I was thinking about just getting the regular Modi 2 with a Magni 2 Uber. Don't think I'll need the extra inputs on the Modi 2U. Any other DAC/amps you could recommend in that same price range that might be even better value than the Schiit?

Would it be worth upgrading from my Fiio E10K to a Schiit stack, O2+ODAC or something in that price range for my Fostex TH-X00s? Was originally considering an Origen+ but from what I gather, that would be more of a lateral move and not really much of an upgrade?

Easier for setting the fans up or easier because I wouldn't need PWM fans? If it's easier setting them up with a PWM controller, can you explain how? Sorry for all the questions. This is my first build and the fan setup is what's confusing me the most.

But if I bought all PWM fans, I wouldn't need the Phanteks PWM controller right? I wouldn't need any type of PWM spliiter? Also, are the cables for the front fans long enough to reach the mobo?

Is there an advantage to using a PWM controller instead of the mobo headers? And what's a primo?

The R4 comes with a fan controller for 3 fans while I believe the Asus Z97-AR comes with 6 PWM fan headers. My plan is the have two 120mm aftermarket fans for the front intake, a 140mm aftermarket fan for rear exhaust and a 120mm aftermarket fan for top (back) exhaust. My question is, should I buy PWM fans for all 4 of them and just plug them into the mobo and not use the case fan controller?
