  1. I just removed the GPU just to make sure it is not the GPU, before I reinstall windows and to another disk on my PC.. and guess what.. Suddenly EVERYTHING works again...so long 970. Thank you both for your help and input! UPDATE: It is not the graphics card.. it is... *drumroll* GPU Tweak II... Freaking hell!
  2. Ok.. Did all programs crash? For me it seems it is just system programs (Hw Monitor installed on C, Event Viewer installed on C etc..) I hope it is not the MoBo -_- I'm am thinking it might be the M.2 drive.. I cannot even check it because the stuff crashes. I am thinking of installing Windows new on a SSD..
  3. I tried installing CDI, but I had to rush through the install otherwise it crashed, when I start it, it crashes. It is not the RAM, put in some other RAM and it works normally, but the issue persists.
  4. Will do that! Thanks for the help! Any other suggestions and ideas are welcome!
  5. Amazon reviews say, that some sticks are faulty and so they had no issues sending me a replacement/exchange.. So I might even have a fix for it before I can confirm it is the issue. Although I hope it is.. Cause otherwise I think it is the M.2 or even worse, it can be CPU related right? After the RAM... What else could I do? Reinstall windows? Move windows to my other SSD and leave the M.2 out?
  6. Great idea! I tried running it via the normal drive and it crashed.. Like even winrar crashed while trying to export it.
  7. Hey! I have a weird PC issue. My PC started crashing all kinds of programs that I try to run (HW Monitor, EventViewer, utorrent etc) The Task Manager shows under „STATUS“ shortly before the programs crash:“Shortly interrupted“ and then the programs freeze and crash. I even got it to start Diablo 3 and then it froze on exiting the game. I reset the PC two a 2 day old reset point, did not help. I updated my windows to the latest updates and it still persists I am not sure what is the cause, both RAM sticks work (I tried running them in singles and the problem persists) Although they „work“ they still might be corrupted? Can it be the M.2 I use? Here my setup (barely 4 months old): BeQuiet! Pure Base 500DX ASUS Gaming Z490 Plus Intel i7-10700K Bequiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 (2 fans) Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 2666MHz C16 Corsair RM750x Old ASUS Strix 970 (will be replaced by a 3080 once they are available again!) M.2 OS Drive 512 SSD Kingston 512 2x 1Gb HDD Any help is greatly appreciated, any fixes too =)
  8. Thank you all for your input! I will come back to it tomorrow once I will start setting it up! If someone has some experience or some input, feel free to post it
  9. Hello everyone, long time no post! Build: BeQuiet! Pure Base 500DX ASUS Gaming Z490 Plus Intel i7-10700K Bequiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 (2 fans) Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 2666MHz C16 Corsair RM750x Old ASUS Strix 970 (will be replaced by a 3080 once they are available again!) Fan-Splitter: Silverstone SilverStone SST-CPF01 (Yes, this is my first build and upgrade after 6-7 years) Mobo connectors for cooling: 1 x CPU Fan connector(s) 1 x CPU OPT Fan connector(s) 3 x Chassis Fan connector(s) 1 x AIO_PUMP connector Case fans pre-installed: 3x BeQuiet! Pure Wings 2 140mm TECH INFO about the Pure Wings 2 Rated Voltage DC (V) 12 Operating Voltage DC (V) 5 - 12 Current consumption (A) 0.30 Safety current (A) 0.30 Input power (W) 3.6 I want to add 2 x BeQuiet! Shadow Wings 2 140mm TECH INFO about the Shadow Wings 2: Rated Voltage DC (V) 12 Operating Voltage DC (V) 6 - 12 Current consumption (A) 0.30 Safety current (A) 0.30 Input power (W) 3.60 So my first question! Can I use 2 Y-Splitters on the mobo to connect 2 fans into 1 header and another 2 into the other. -->Exhaust will have its own header. I want to add 2 more fans, those being the Shadow Wings 2 140mm. All the Mobo connectors are: 4-pin PWM/DC fan (All onboard headers support auto-detection of PWM or DC fans.) and the integrated AiO header enables full control of PWM or DC water pumps. So I was thinking of the following setup: 2 fans at the front will be connected to 1 header with a splitter. 2 fans on the top will be connected to 1 header with a splitter. The exhaust fan will have it's header. or 2 fans at the front will be connected to 1 header with a splitter. 1 fan connected into its own header 1 fan connected into its own header 1 fan (exhaust or any other?) connected to the AiO header I know 1 header should be able to support 2 fans, no problems but can there be any issues and which configuration (which fans into which headers etc) should I use? Another question: Should I only use 1 splitter, connect 2 fans to 1 header, connect another 2 fans to the other two headers and use the AiO header as another fan header (Exhaust for example) Or should I just go with 2 splitters and leave the AiO be? First question again! Can I use 2 Y-Splitters on the mobo to connect 2 fans into 1 header and another 2 into the other. Exhaust will have its own header.) I will use 5 fans because I have a smaller gaming room that tends to run hot sometimes. Any help and tips are appreciated!
  10. Ah just realized I have a 4 pin that has 4 molex connections on it.. Ty for the help *brainfart* They're installed =)
  11. Hey I've bought the revoltec cold cathodes and now I wonder, how do I connect them to my power supply (Corsair CS650M).. The cathodes came with a molex connector and a 2 pin connector.. Halp :3
  12. Cooler Master CM690 III is great and has a lot of space for big radiators =)
  13. For ASUS you can set up the fan curve as you want it! I'm using the ASUS Strix gtx 970 and I love it.. No problems whatsoever.. Set the fans to start at 55°C =) But GPUs feel at home around 40-70°C anyway (or even more when under heavy load)
  14. I meant for him to get a 980.. then again many games don't make the use of SLI... also 970 will get updated so yeah... anyway..
