  1. Thanks! That seems like a really good choise to be fair. Same resolution, HDR, non curved and with a higher refresh rate than the others. I may go with that!
  2. So far the top contenders: The BenQ PD3220U Only thing here I am unsure about is if it has VESA mount option or not. LG 32UL950-W This does only deliver 60w of power over Thunderbolt which is in the low end
  3. Really? I'd give up Thunderbolt if that was necessary.
  4. Hi all! I am looking for the perfect solution to my work & gaming life. I want a monitor that will output 4k at 120 or 144hz and preferably can carry power over USB C/Thunderbolt so that I can plug in my Macbook with just 1 cable. And at the same time, be able to play games on my Xbox Series X. Only other requirements is that is support the VESA mount and is NOT curved. What do you think? Is that possible? Budget is less os a problem for the right solution. Thanks to anyone that can help just a tiny bit.
  5. Wireless Adapter RMA'ed and sent back!
  6. Thanks Husky! I think this might have helped! I have now run 30+ speed tests on the 2.4ghz network, and I am consistently getting 90/90 speeds. However, when I swop to 5ghz, it still slows to 3/90 mbit. I have tried different channels and bandwidths.
  7. And now we're back to slow again. No changes, just waited a few hours.
  8. All drivers up to date. Connected to 3.0 port which it does support. Now I just uninstall the driver, and plugged the wireless adapter into another 3.0 port. Voila, all is good. 90/90 speeds. Didn't install the driver for it, nothing. Let's see how long it works this time.. Normally less than a day.
  9. Hi all, I have this crazy problem that I haven't been able to figure out. Maybe someone here can help? ?? My internet speed is 100/100 mbit. Yet one of my devices, 99% of the time, will have a way slower DL. All devices located in the same place, about 10 meters from router (Asus RT-AC87U), with 2 walls in between. Here's the speed tests. Speedtest.net Desktop: 2 / 90 mbit Macbook: 80/80 mbit iPhone 6Plus: 60/90 mbit On the desktop, I am using a Trendnet TEW-809UB wireless adapter. I have tried to connect this adapter to my Macbook, and it will get normal 80/80 ish speeds on there. Same on my GF's Windows laptop. I have the most up to date driver for this adapter installed. It seems like it's a problem with the desktop as this adapter works fine on other devices. I have a new wireless adapter on the way to test. Any suggestions? :o
  10. Ah yeah, the power to them GPU's. Why doesn't CPU makers put the power connectors on the opposite end of the IO? Would make for better cable-management.
  11. Technically I don't think it's legal to install OSX on anything else than an Apple computer, but I could be wrong. You can read everything about Hackintosh here: tonymacx86.com I do use different keyboard/mouse yes. Primarily because it just works better. With an Apple Trackpad I can use multi-touch gestures etc.
  12. Thanks! 1. Yes, I did. Bought simple LED lights from IKEA. They are very inexpensive and they do a great job. 2. The total will be around 3600 USD, but that does include pretty much everything. 3. Hah, It does dualboot, so I have Windows as well. I use OSX for work, video editing etc, and Windows for all them gamez!
  13. Personal Rig Update 2016 This is my personal rig, used for work and gaming. It dualboots Windows and OSX, and is hooked up to 3 displays mounted on an electric desk. I recently added the second SSD and mounted the display stand directly to the table. Hope you like it.
