  1. No, I've only been looking at Gigabyte and Asus cards, since I've used them before and I know they are good. I guess I'm kind of biased towards other cards. However the clock speeds are higher by a small margin so I think if I ever to get the WaterForce one it would be better since I could OC it to even higher than that, and the WaterForce one £30 so I think the WaterForce one is better.
  2. I guess in the end it does come down to my choice. Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it.
  3. I just looked at it, the price for the Hybrid and WaterFroce are exactly the same. But the WaterForce one seems better. Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980Ti Xtreme Gaming WaterForce 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card Core Clock: 1216MHz, Boost Clock: 1317MHz, Memory: 6144MB 7200MHz GDDR5, Stream Processors: 2816, SLI Ready, VR Ready, PhysX/CUDA Enabled, 3 Years... £629.99* EVGA GeForce GTX 980Ti Hybrid 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (06G-P4-1996-KR) Core Clock: 1140Hz, Boost Clock: 1228MHz, Memory: 6144MB 7010MHz GDDR5, Stream Processors: 2816, SLI Ready, VR Ready, PhysX/CUDA Enabled, 3 Years... Was: £649.99\£629.99
  4. That's what I though, but now you've peaked my interest for the WaterForce one, do you think it would be worth an extra £60?
  5. I was referring to the GeForce GTX 980Ti Xtreme Gaming, not the GeForce GTX 980Ti Xtreme Gaming WaterForce. The WateForce one is £60 more expensive, would it be worth it then? Considering I do not plan to do some crazy overclocks if I even end up overlocking at all.
  6. I'm not quite sure which one is better, they both cost the exact same amount.
  7. You should be fine with 750W. However that depends on your CPU/Motherboard and RAM aswell. Going by your build (that you have in your signature) With a single 390 you would be drawing about 430W at full load, with two 390's in CS at full load you would be at around 700W. So in theory 750W is enough. That is without overclocking, if you were to overclock you would need to get a stronger PSU or you would be really pushing it and it wouldn't be very safe for your cards.
  8. The White Death / The Winter Soldier (I know captain america did that one but it's still cool) That's all I got, maybe I come up with something else later.
  9. 980 is better that 960 sli for sure. Your PSU can handle both. However depending on your budget a 980 ti would be worth looking into, if I were you I would rather save up for a 980 ti rather than getting a 980 or two 960's. But the single 980 is still a better choice but not by that much over SLI 960's IMO.
  10. I found a pretty decent SSD for $50 (SanDisk X300 SD7SB6S-128G-1122) so I though I might get it when it's relatively cheap but if I really don't need it I guess I could put that $50 towards another 2TB HDD. So I can run a game server as well as a NAS simultaneously using FreeNas or Amahi? And do you know anything about unRAID, I've seen linus use it a bunch so it must be pretty good.
  11. I am planning on building a NAS to store weekly backups, movies etc. I plan on doing this with some old computer parts I have lying around as well as some new parts, nothing fancy (Quad-Core 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD and 2TB HDD). I was thinking of running unRAID on it but I have no idea how unRAID works honestly. However I want to be able to use it as a server as well as it being a NAS, can I do that? Would I need to change the build in order to be able to do so, i.e. add another SSD or HDD. Some other questions: Is my current building missing anything important (Other than PSU, MOBO. I didn't include those since they aren't that important and the mobo does have gigabit capabilities.) Any tips on building my first NAS

    Need some help.

The BenQ is €15 less than the Asus, I'd gladly pay €15 for 3D and a DisplayPort I/O. Well thanks for the help man, appreciated it
  14. Oh wow... I had no idea. That a real bummer, even though you're getting it replaced I'd imahine that sucks a lot.
