Bullcrap. Ive got legal copies for IV and EFLC. Some peeps just dont like MS Live. I prefer to have my data stored in my documents than in some far away location plus dont like the damn Live notifications that i have to install update to play the game and for saves to work.

You can still be an enthusiast and like a Mac. It's particularly justified in the notebook market. Other manufactures might be closing the gap in terms of build quality, but theres sill a big fucking gap!

That sounds like a really strange issue. When you said you manually set up another network with the same specs, is that different hardware on the modem end? And did it help? Have you got the latest drivers for your wifi card?
Also, you could try posting this in the networking subforum where there might be some more people who can help.
