Hello, I rarely post here and somewhat not able to find the answer i was looking for. I recently upgraded to 10700k on MSI z490 Gaming Plus. As per Linus's video , we are now able to control per core HT on 10th Gen intel. However, i for some reason couldnt find the "Best Core" for my Proc and that resulted in not being able to disable HT on that Core. ( experimenting what's going to happen with 2 core HT disabled ) Another one i couldnt understand or confuses me , is the NB Freq in CPU-Z. Based on this picture , usually the NB Freq will be in relation to DRAM Freq. However, in this case , it does not. How can i understand this further? .

My TTCommander FX can only fit a 3pin header.. i dont have extra slot for a 4pin header. the objective is to put both radfans and the CM120fan on the 4pin header.. The question is , can my cpublock run on the 3pin header on the TTCommander?

Quick Question. I have a Frostflow 120. The frostflow have a 120Fan , a 120Rad and the cpublock. The 120Fan is a 4Pin fan header. The cpublock is a 3pin fan header. I bought a CoolerMaster Masterfan Pro 120 AirFlow, it came with a 4pin fan header. My motherboard has only two 4pin fan header labelled as cpu_fan and sys_fan. Can i actually put the cpublock into a 3pin fan header on my Thermaltake Commander FX, the 120Fan to the sys_fan , while the CM120AirFlow to the cpu_fan. Will the cpublock still function? Regards... Hi , I just bought an i7-7700k. I have an existing motherboard ( GA-H110-DS2 ) but im not sure what is the bios version. I didnt update the BIOS yes but i have sold my previous processor... Can i just plug in my 7700k and then update the bios after that? Yes i know i have a K processor and i know its a waste to use it on H110... heh.. changing the mobo next month. *EDIT* I found out that my mobo has a Q-Flash , now will that work with my 7700k plugged in , and just boot Q-Flash?

Ok , i found out by using MSi AfterBurner , CPU Usage was around 90% the whole time makes recording hard as h.264 is done by the cpu

50mb using shadowplay is normal though. i just tried 10k a few minutes ago , i have 15fps. pretty sure shadowplay is playing at constant bitrate

i understand how vram works. but pretty sure it is not the gpu issue here..

ya , i am beginning to think the same. due to 970 limitation on the 3.5gb vram. and going over will throttle the card. but i have seen other youtubers doing high settings and still able to record with non-choppy video.

err. i dont get you here.. 50k bitrate i dont think should be a problem for the i5-6400 and gtx970. Yes i have tried on mpc with 60fps plugins.. i m beginning to think its the GPU itself... how do i check usage of gpu while in-game?

ya man.. i did that... recording to my 120gb OS ssd.... and... no go..... still choppy...
