  1. My budget just increased to 180$. What do you think now?
  2. Hello everyone, I wanted to ask a question. Which monitor under 130$ do you recommend for gaming? I've been looking into the Asus VS247H. What do you think, is there a better option? Thank you My budget just skyrocketed to 180$
  3. True.I'll get a 3TB one and when I want to get the second one I'll smack my head against the wall then. I won't use RAID if I filled it up by the time I got a new one, but if I didn't use up too much space I'll use 'em in RAID 0. I just hope it doesn't fail on me in RAID0 because then I'll cry
  4. I'm quite unsure about the RAID 0 because if my HDD fails all is lost. I want RAID to ensure safety of my stuff. I can get a 3TB one for about the same as two 1TBs, but I wouldn't have any backup... And 1TB of storage seems insufficient... ARGHHHH MY HEAD
  5. I'm really having a dillema here. Either I'm going to get two 1TB HDDs and use them in RAID1, or get a 2TB one now and get another later to use in RAID. But then I couldn't start RAID without wiping the old one right? What do you suggest? Oh, and I'll get a 250GB SSD
  6. Yeah I hoard movies, music,TV shows, games (not installed),programs. I'm the ''I might need this in the future'' type.
  7. Thank you very much! Just a quick question is 1TB HDD (in raid 1) and a 250GB SSD enough for gaming (I'm a hoarder )
  8. Hello just a quick question. I already have a 2TB drive that I've been using. I plan to buy a new 2TB drive and use it with this one in RAID 1. Now, if I enable RAID1 would I lose all the data on my old 2TB drive or would it just copy over? Thank you
  9. Does the ASUS Maximus VII Hero support RAID?
  10. The EVGA is not availible in my country ( Serbia ). Ok which WD do you recommend for RAID? RAID 1 or 0?
  11. The 16 GB kits are more expensice and I'm on a tight budget.
  12. Hello guys, I just finished my list of PC components so I would like to hear your opinions on it: CPU:Intel i5 4690k CPU Cooler:Cooler Master Nepton 280L MOBO: ASUS Maximus VII Hero GPU: MSI nVidia GTX 970 RAM: 2x4GB Kingston HyperX Beast 2400MHz SSD: Samsung 840 250GB EVO HDD: Western Digital 1TB Black HDD: Western Digital 1TB Black (In RAID 1) PSU: Seasonic X-750 Case: Corsair Graphite 760T Monitor: Asus VS247H I'll be mostly using this PC for gaming. I'll probably go GTX 970 SLI when I have the money for it. So what do you think?
  13. Hello everyone, I would like to ask you about your opinion of those 2 PSUs. My specs will be: CPU:Intel i5 4690k CPU Cooler:Cooler Master Nepton 280L MOBO: ASUS Maximus VII Hero GPU: MSI nVidia GTX 970 RAM: 2x4GB Kingston HyperX Beast 2400MHz SSD: Samsung 840 250GB EVO HDD: Western Digital 3TB Black Case: Corsair Graphite 760T I'll be overclocking and possibly doing SLI in the future. Please help
  14. With some excessive thinking I think I'll go with the Samsung 840 250GB EVO instead of the pro. And I'll get the WD 2TB Black! Thank you for all your help
  15. Hello everyone, I'd like to hear your opinions on this. For my build I'll get a WD 2TB Black and 128 GB Samsung Pro SSD. What do you think about them? I'm going to use my PC for gaming. And is Western Digital reliable in terms of HDD longevity? Also is Samsung a good SSD brand? Thank you
