  1. smsl m2 afforadable dac/amp combo that's said to sound good. i havn't used it personally, but it's one i actually want to try. SMSL SD793-II another dac/amp combo that i've head performs well. The reviews are neat anyway. Wouldn't hurt to give these a chance, and since they're inexpensive, you won't feel like you wasted your money. Youtube is your friend here too. upgrtade your headphones btw.
  2. would like this for more storage
  3. small and simple, would make for a nice relaxing gaming experience.
  4. i like the simple look of the interface, and like the rear buttons however, don't like the speaker position
  5. the best reason why i like this phone is it's 90% metal construction. I like when phones feel premium
  6. I would suggest some form of watch. whether it be a pebble or samsung gear, the watch brand is going to become more relevant in the coming years when it comes to the use of smartphones. i would also suggest maybe a tablet of sorts. The brand would vary depending on personal preference, but they always act as nice and quick media tools for when your bored. You can also try for an ultrabook as well. lastly i would suggest some form of storage. Maybe just a regular usb 3.0 drive from corsair or kingston. maybe streaming storage device. always nice to have storage. there's my gift guide, i wouldn't ever go crazy on tech parts for the holidays just because they can get expensive. these items here are more accessories than must haves, but can prove useful in more circumstances than expected. ps, you can try and push for some headphones and of other peripherals.
  7. the GPU I plan on purchasing is the R9 270X just because that's the card I would believe to be the enthusiast class for 1080p gaming, which is all I need and want. The color scheme is always amazing, but i think ill wait for asus to create a non reference cooler for it. the audio that they presented seemed like technology that was already around. To me it wasn't too impressive, but to be honest I wouldn't know. So not having the audio solution in this card isnt a big deal to me. this presentation was amazing, and was very impressed with what was showcased today. got me excited for some AMD
  8. I've been wanting to build a rig for a long time now. I'm so close to that goal. It might have to be til after this summer though, unfortunately.
  9. I posted a thread earlier about a rig i wanted to build, and got tons of quality feedback, and was very happy for it. Though with all the coverage on Computex, I really aspired to use a lot of the tech i saw on the coverage. I still took everyone's feedback in mind. A few notes: 1. I'll be using this PC for gaming and making/rendering videos 2. I'm using a Razer black widow cuz i use a deathadder, will go into my Synapse 2.0 profile 3. I know i got the lower end of memory, though I do plan on OCing it. 4. I have a wireless PCI because the placement of this rig in my room probably won't allow me to run an Ethernet cord to it. Still being discussed though, and might even get rid of it in the future. 5. got a PCIe SSD from OCZ, just wanna try it. Here you go guys: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/14rp3 If you guys can look this over, and possibly still give me some feedback, will be most appreciated. I do plan on building this. Once again, thanks guys.
  10. ok guys. here is the finaly pc part picker gather up i took a lot of your feedback, and made some changes here is the revised version: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/12pLd once again, if you can, tell me how i did
  11. is it necessary to include a board with 2 way SLI, or should i just save my money and not go with that?
  12. thanks man, i appreciate it ill be using rig mostly for gaming. ill swap out those parts and maybe i can just make this goal of mine come to life.
  13. so here is a link to pc part picker where i have picked out several parts for a rig. just would like it if you guys could lemme know if all this can work together and if there are any changes i should make. really appreciate it guys. It's been a goal of mine to build a rig from scratch. though i dont have the best knowledge, hands on work is always the best kind of exerpience. also, if i do happen to run with this rig, ill try and do a build log of it, u know, a sort of before and after post http://pcpartpicker.com/p/12o48
