Caironc's Achievements

  1. I recommend the 8Bitdo Sn30 Pro+ : https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-Sn30-Pro-Bluetooth-Gamepad-Sn/dp/B07T8JKVNT/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=sn30%2Bpro&qid=1569304887&s=gateway&sr=8-3&th=1 It has detachable hand grips, can be used with android, switch or pc, and is pretty comfortable IMO
  2. I am going to assume that you are talking about things like feed the beast and things similar. It should be able to record them a bit above 30 fps. Just make sure when you are recording with atleast 6 cores.

Not sure if I'm the only one but theres an error when I try to start the video. edit: NVM fixed, sorry
  4. @Aniallation do you have any experience with that SSD I've heard mixed reviews on it. Some say that the newer ones are having issues.
  5. @Aniallation Unless im mistaken don't you need to do a BIOS update? I figured the OP might not be interested in that. Also how can you do the PCPP markup like that? It messed up for me when I tried it.
  6. Okay heres a fixed up version: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tvWxWZ may I ask why your mother needs 8gb?
  7. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WykFHx This build should be fine. If you have a windows disc lying around or if you can show her how to use ubuntu. I chose a z97 motherboard in case you want to overclock the pentium a bit but if not you can get a cheaper motherboard.
  8. Newegg or Canada computers is probably the best place, I'm pretty sure they all go slightly over $100 though with taxes and shipping Maybe wait until Cyber monday and see if theres a deal?
  9. Anything can cause a game to BSOD. I've had Minecraft with a shaders pack BSOD my computers. Usually the game will just crash but with every mod you add you are causing a risk of instability. If you get a blue screen then just find the mod doing and take it out, it shouldnt be a problem.
  10. I did the same thing you are thinking of doing. I recommenced doing it if you can do it for free/a low price. My 560ti is still going strong and although I may replace it in the future it is not in my necessity list.
  11. I have a red, blue, and brown cherry mx keyboards. None of them really had any advantages over the other. A quick comparison is: Reds are very light and easy to press sound (Hence why they are known for being good for gaming.) They have a linear feel to them meaning there is no satisfying bump to them, but this also makes them more quiet. Browns are a little heavier than reds, they have a tactile "bump" that is satisfying to press but not extremely loud. Blues are the same weight as browns, they have a tactile "click" to them that is pretty loud but also probably the most satisfying. They are the loudest switches. In my opinion if you want quietness and are okay with a not as satisfying feel I would go with reds, if you don't' mind how loud a keyboard is and just want it to feel good I would go with blues, and if you want a happy medium I would go with browns.
  12. If you wanted to go over balance could['t you deposit them into a paypal account? I suggest the quick fire TK if you can. Do you have any idea what kind of switches you want?
  13. Some/most laptops have a button on the laptop to turn off the keyboard. If not you can just disable it in control panel. My friend uses a mechanical keyboard on top of his laptop keyboard and he has not has any issues though.
  14. if you dont have the stand offs in then the motherboard isn't being grounded. The computer shuts off to prevent any damage from happening (and possibly a fire) did you put them in?
  15. I've had this issue before, 2 things that might be happening are: * Motherboard stand offs aren't in *You forgot to plug the motherboard into the power supply (There are two ports)
