pretty close would suggest they are somehow on par. Also this is spec'd almost exactly like the OnePlus One without NFC and a smaller battery and a different screen. So since all the other variables are constant, no I don't think that the smaller battery life along with AMOLED will somehow compensate at all. Only thing good about amoled (suggestively) is that it has better colors vs LCD. If it does use the latest samsung panels that are in the S6 (which are more efficient), it might fare better, but it won't be as good as a bigger battery regardless.

HAHAHA alright, this misinformation needs to stop; AMOLED doesn't suddenly give you magically powers to gain 2 hours of on screen time, sorry bud. 3100 mah is going to get a better battery life than 2525mah + amoled no questions asked.

can't you just buy a cheap 1+1 with better specs for cheaper and no invite? I don't really get the hype about the OnePlus X when it has a smaller battery than the OnePlus One without a lower res screen to compensate like the sony compact phones. I'd say go for the 1+1 if you don't care about the screen size that much.

typically only nexus devices are supported to have OTA updates through TWRP. Regardless, I'd recommend a custom ROM because 1. much cooler B) 2. completely works with twrp 3. don't have to re-root all the time 4. no useless BS 5. Custom kernels are da best etc.... regardless if you want to upgrade to an official firmware, you should flash the stock images if provided by the manufacturer using fastboot flash *filename corresponding to the partition* *partition you want to flash the file to* if you are completely f*cked
