    60hz is the refresh rate of the monitor, basically the rate at which your monitor can display images. you should not confuse refresh rate with frame rate because they are not the same thing. you would want to limit your frame rate to reduce stress on your gpu.

    Yes, the data on the drive is duplicated including the OS. The connector used doesn't matter.

    ASUS UBF should be fine as long as you have power. It shouldn't need a BIOS flash though, only if you go G3258, 4690K or 4790K.
