Sure you didn't connect the power button to the reset connector on the MOB?? Would have been funny if u did so, haha
-
The CPU socket. I tried to unplug the reset switch on the MOB, but it didn't fix the problem.

Where is the red light on the PSU?? Actually, I think I found the problem. I took out one of the GPU's, and now it has worked for days without shutting off...

Corsair AX760 is a platinum certified PSU containing pretty premium components so i doubt it, but never say never How would a faulty PSU randomly restart the computer?? And work just as fine under load as on idle?

It keeps restarting randomly and I don't need to put it under load at all (it doesn't make any difference). It's not BSOD, it just quits (like a powercut) and then restarts. Sometimes it fails to restart and just tries again and again (like if someone is spamming the powerbutton) for a few seconds just to give up and then I have to turn the PSU off to be able to start the computer again. Sometimes the computer stays on for hours, and sometimes just a few minutes before it restarts..VERY unreliable ! I don't get any errors on the MOB. I have experienced that it says 04 or 03, not very common or necessarily related to my problem. I have been in contact with the costumer service where I bought the parts, but we haven't concluded with anything yet.. I was told to check the socket, and I found out that one of the pins were bent and possibly touching another pin, but I bent it back to its place. Can a shortcut between these pins cause this kind of problem even after it is "fixed"? I've stress tested every part of the computer for hours (until it sometimes quits).. I tested every memorystick seperate with Prime95 memtest but everything was fine during stressing. I've looked at the cougar fans, but they weren't on sale in Norway when I bought the system. Anyway, I disordered the af120's because I would have to wait for years for the system to be shipped as the fans weren't available at the time i ordered it. I will try find them in a different store and order them pretty soon:)
