Yes, the case supports a 240mm radiator, which is what the H100i uses. The motherboard doesn't come into compatibility issues with coolers - just the cpu socket - and most cooler support all sockets - that H100i supports all Z97 sockets.

    Hope this helps

Ultimately it is down to your personal preference and your budget. I chose the h100i because I knew I wanted to OC my CPU. Another factor to think about is the temperature of where the pc is stored as it will affect the performance of the rad quite a lot. My house is normally rather warm between 18 in winter and a far too hot for me 25-27 degrees centigrade in the summer. non OC in the winter my CPU idles at about 22.5c and i struggle to get it above 38c when I do video rendering or other CPU intensive tasks this is with both my rad fans set to 800rpm. But when I OC my CPU the H100i comes into its own. my CPU is OC to 4.5ghz and while at idle in the winter I don't go above 38c or there about. Which is still rather good. And even when I am using Cinema 4d and rendering videos at the same time. I don't normally get temps of over 70c and that is well within acceptable range considering that the CPU will not start to harm its self due to heat until it gets to about 90c (Intel says 105c but if my CPU got to that I would be rather worried and think something in my system broke). While gaming I never normally see temps over 82c (With the fans set to 1800rpm) which is still perfectly fine. Temperature wise the H100i will handle almost anything you can throw at it.

Another thing to consider is space. I have a corsair air 240 case so there is not a lot of room for a massive heat sync for my CPU because the dims on my MOBO are quite close to my CPU socket so I had that to consider as well. also I had to consider air flow. I only have one case fan ans it is an exhaust fan as I have 2 120mm sp fans cooling the rad in pull config. IT IS ALL DOWN TO YOUR PREFERENCE! Yes you could go with a H80i or a H90 and save about £30 to £40 and you CPU would run a bit hotter but not a lot. When i am web surfing or watching a film I want my pc to be as close to silent as I can get it. but when I am gaming I will most probably have headphones on so the sound it generates does not bother me that much as I can not hear it. Same goes for when I am editing I will have headphones on. Again all down to personal preference. installation of the H100i is a cake walk. And once you get used to the corsair link you can create custom fan profiles that allow you to adjust fan speed dependent on temperature or task you are preforming. The RGB light on my pump changes colour dependent on the temperature of my CPU so i can just look at the side of my case and get a rough idea of what temp my CPU is at. As for build quality the rad is a lot like the rest and the pump is near silent. Yes the pump housing is plastic but it looks good and does the job. If I was doing it all again i would go for a whole custom cooling loop and a bigger case. But that is just me. Hope this helped.
