Disclaimer: I'm a Canadian and find your entire Health Insurance system odd and unnecessary, so I'm by no means an expert.

With that in mind: I would almost certainly assume it's salary before taxes - your gross income.

Have you looked on the NYC ACA Exchange? The NY State deadline is December 31st:
    https://www.healthmarkets.com/resources/health-insurance/open-enrollment/

NY State has their own exchange, which you can find here:
    https://nystateofhealth.ny.gov/

That's the first place I'd look. Maybe someone from New York with better knowledge of Health Insurance can give you better advice.

If you get insurance thru your employer it’s taken out before payroll taxes. It actually helps you lessen your taxable income.

If your just going to pick up insurance not thru your employer, you need to check the healthcare exchange. If your dirt poor you can check to see if the State will offer you Medicaid which is poor people insurance.

Bear in mind, cheap insurance doesn’t cover shit. It’s for the purpose if you get hospitalized you will still pay a ton, but the insurance company will help with a good majority of the costs.

I doubt the 390 has HDMI 2.0 so you're limited to 30hz, you should be able to do 4k 60hz over Displayport.

oskar23 reacted to RejZoR in Overclocking 5820k
I've tried bunch of guides and they were mostly useless for my system.

Personally, I'd just set the "CPU Clock Ratio" to 45 and CPU Vcore to 1.2V. Look through the BIOS for setting that says "Enhanced Multithreading" or "ALL Core Turbo" or something along those lines and set it to ENABLED (this will force all cores to run at overclocked speed). If it boots to desktop, then continue below, if it doesn't, try increasing voltage slowly up to max 1.3V until it boots fine. if it never boots, set it to 1.2V again and use CPU clock ratio of 44. Repeat.

    Then download ASUS RealBench tool:
    https://rog.asus.com/rog-pro/realbench-v2-leaderboard/

And run the "Benchmark" with 10 loops and only select "H.264 Video Encoding". If it passes, it should be stable for anything. If it crashes or locks up during those 10 loops, go to BIOS and slowly increase voltage up to max 1.3V until it gets stable. If it never gets stable at any voltage up to 1.3V, go the opposite way. Set again to 1.2V and try CPU clock ratio at 44. Repeat the testing.

There is also a second way that worked well for me on my particular motherboard. I just left CPU Vcore at AUTO and set CPU clock ratio to 45. As it turns out, AUTO was setting voltages basically the same as me doing it manually. You can try this and monitoring CPU voltage with CPU-Z program while CPU is doing the above benchmark to see if it's using too high voltages. If it's kept well under 1.3V you can even use AUTO. If it's at that or above, use own voltage instead to be safe as some motherboards are too generous with voltages on AUTO. Mine wasn't thankfully.

Ultimately, your goal should be reaching as high clock as possible with as low voltage as possible. This will ensure it runs fast and cool. There is no point in pumping more voltage if it's not needed as it'll just make more heat. The rest is basically systematic trial and error. i was fiddling with it through years and ended up at 4.6GHz at only 1.185V. And I haven't even touched any of the "advanced" settings like Loadline calibration or disabling power saving features as most "guides" suggest. It depends on power supply and motherboard, but at least you have decent cooling so that's a good start.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any particular issues during the process.

After a while they removed this vaccine and there was end of topic. Those who werent affected by vaccine probably will always say vaccines are great but stories of those who got affected by it wont be ever mentioned or heard. Sad.

Im not saying vaccines are conspiracy but with this global " pandemic " and how fast they want it to give it to us.. no thanks. Ive been fine for last 6 months and past 8 years without any vaccine.

I think we all can agree that those people are not protesting. They are destroying everything on their way for no reason. ATMs are stolen, cars from dealers, packages from delivery vehicles, stores vandalized, places being burned down, business owners beaten for protecting their property and list goes on. It has nothing to do with protesting. Will military be needed to stop that?

There must be a downside for giving out so much money weekly and with stimulus checks. While everyone is happpy and wants more whats the bad side of it? I know people who used to make 500/600$ here in the US and now they got $800 weekly + $1200 from stimulus. What sense does it make?? Its great isnt it?
What about other countries? Do they give out money? Will it crash financial system? I hear more often about virtual currency now so they can see how much we get and what we spend on. It sounds crazy but back in a day we laughed that this virus wont affect us and it did..  will we live in different reality 2 years from now?

I highly suspect that the US is tunneling itself into more debt for no real reason. We’ve spent a few trillion on this Coronavirus shit in three months. Where’s that money to, ya know, fix crumbling cities and roads or trying to curb opiate abuse in places like West Virginia?

What country are you in?   if they give it to everyone then the benefit is it provides the entire economy with a quick boost that you can't get through other measures (like lowering tax or removing business obstacles).  Over the population demographics some will put it straight into gambling or drugs/alcohol etc, others will make repayments and clear debt while others again will go out and buy a new tv, sleeping bag, bbq (luxury items have the biggest impact on the economy), that is why it needs too be given to a wide spread of people and not just low income earners etc.

In Cyprus they're giving some government granted help. The size of it depends on the size of the salary. If you were unemployed, nothing for you. Here we still don't have any stated help from the government, but the unemployment rate is getting higher. 7 or 8 percent currently. I was fired from my job and had to apply for a-kassa (unemployment benefits fond) and there were some rumors or discussions that the government would subsidize those so you can get 100% of your salary (otherwise you get 80 with a cap of 900 swedish crown a day). I found new job so i dont really care anymore.

oof, that's a complicated topic and the answer depends on one's political and fiscal policy

The economy is measured by how much money is moving around. You send $10 on lunch, that money pays the cook at the restaurant, who then later buys groceries, which pays the store clerk, and so on ad infinitum. If a large number of people stop spending their money, the whole thing comes crashing down.

A lot of people aren't being paid right now so they have no money to spend. The immediate affect of the stimulus is to give those people, and everyone else, money to spend in order to keep the economy going.

The long term affect is that the US government is borrowing money to pay for the stimulus and will eventually have to pay it back. This is known as the national debt.

The government borrows money by selling treasury bonds. In short, a bond is essentially an IOU with interest. You can buy US Treasury bond for some amount and in some number of years you can cash it in for more money than you paid. The vast majority of bonds are sold to banks, investors, and foreign governments. US bonds are popular because they are considered a low-risk investment due to the expected stability and longevity of the US government.

So the government has this massive pile of debt which it must pay off eventually. The sticking point, and where people's opinions differ, is that the due date can effectively be pushed forward forever. The government can sell more bonds today to get money to pay the bonds which it sold ten years ago and are now being cashed in. It's an endless cycle and as long as people keeping buying bonds and the government keeps paying the bonds which are due, there isn't necessarily an issue.

But it's an unstable equilibrium. If for any reason the cycle stops moving because the government decides to stop paying its debt or is unable to because no one will buy new bonds, that's when bad things happen. Exactly what and to what severity is up for debate.

There are some downsides. Some tax paying law abiding citizens still haven't received our tax refunds. I am going on 10 weeks of waiting at the moment.

Not sure the broad effect this will have but I am sure it will be up for debate in the upcoming election as it will add to our national debt. Some say that we will have to pay off our debt to mainly China eventually. But can China really afford the United States to pay all its debt back? The United States would be financially destroyed by doing so and in result would ruin millions of American lives. The best course of China is to keep lending money to the U.S. so we can keep buying its products. Our two nations are conjoined twins now, more so than some other nations.

    Hey.
I got tp link AC1750 and im wondering if i can set password to it. The problem is that some devices are unable to connect to router when this device is working. I use it floor down just to get internet to my computer using a cable connected from this device to my pc. But its so frustrating that while its on some devices cant connect to wifi at all. Thats why maybe creating password could help but I dont really see that option in tplink's settings. Any idea how to solve this issue with devices not being able to connect while tplink is working?
