Saw a video by Robbaz today and he made a joke about setting up a 360 degree OLED display and that LTT had probably already done that. If you guys haven't, you definitely should. Here's the video for reference. bv14-aRs5YQ (Comment is at 8:47)

R9 290x upgrade help 1440p need urgent help
Alidanexei replied to JNF_Paste's topic in Graphics Cards
As many people have said, both the R9 290X and a GTX 970 are excellent options for a 1440p setup. As for the 390X, it looks like that card will be more on par with GTX 980 and will probably not be able to fully flex its muscles unless you're running some pretty demanding 1440p content. Good luck in your future endeavors sir! -
Please Help Me Make My PC
Alidanexei replied to PlzHelpMeMakeMyPC's topic in New Builds and Planning
Personally, I would go with the first build, but there is no doubt that the second will do just as well of a job. One thing to watch out for is that a z87 board will need a bios update to run that cpu. You're better off saving a little bit longer and getting a 4690K and a z97 motherboard. It should also be noted that I'm a bit of an AMD fan. -

Motherboard postcode 5d, please help :(
Alidanexei replied to Alidanexei's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I bought the Motherboard at Newegg, is there another way to flash the BIOS? If so, how do I go about doing that? (Sorry, I forgot to quote you guys.) -

Noctua, be quiet!, and Bitfenix spectre pro fans have all been pretty quiet in my experience. I would go for Noctua though.

Rather than buy seperate thermal paste, you'd be better off investing the $10 into the cooler itself or whatever it is that you're cooling.

AMD Athlon 860K - AMD FX 6300 - AMD FX 8350

Overall, it is up to you. Do you feel the extra cores will benefit you or will you mostly be gaming? -
Hello all, I'm in the process of selecting a motherboard for my first system. I was just wondering if there is much of a difference between LAN controllers. I know Intel tends to be more relaible, but is that the only difference? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
