  1. lol bro this build is just getting to me now! I just hope, that next time I put her together, I never have to pull her apart again... Should have the 680 on Wednesday or Thursday so will have a nice juicy maybe even final update this weekend if all goes to plan
  2. Yeah man, got my UP7 up. When I fired it up the 680 blew up I was told that the RMA process could take up to 4 weeks, as I requested that a reference GTX680 was sent back so my waterblock would fit on it. They have to wait for EVGA to send over a new one. However, being impatient I went and bought another 680 haha. Should have a new update this weekend
  3. One of my GTX680's blew up... And I mean literally blew up. Smoke and all, a few of the capacitors popped and smoked so waiting on that for RMA... AAARRRRGGGH JUST WANNA FINSIH THIS BUILD!
  4. The Crossover brand has the most highest quality built monitors. I've got a 30" crossover monitor and love it
  5. no. Will not make a difference to speed
  6. looking to get a new 3770K while I wait weeks for my current one to get RMA'd. Is there any place that sells chips that have been tested and stable at a certain clock? Looking for a 1.35v-1.4v chip that does 5.0ghz on water Phil
  7. I didn't no, My Gigabyte Z77X-UP7 died out of the blue and took the CPU with it along with one of my GTX 680's, RMA GALORE! Thanks for the link
  8. So, I once had a 2600K a year and a bit back, it died. I got a 3770K as a replacement (had it for about 7 months), however this one has died too lol Can I get the 3770K replaced under RMA? I am pretty sure it would still be in it's warranty period, is it 5 year warranty for Intel CPU's or is it 3? Cheers ladies; Phil
  9. If you spray paint your cables, when you bend them they will flake and then your paint will get cracks in it so really a waste of time.. Buy some coloured cables or sleeve the current ones you have if you were interested in going that way
  10. I run 4 2TB wd green drives in my server in RAID5. This is because it allows me to have one redundant drive incase anything goes wrong, however I was looking at upgrading them all to Reds at the end of the year for the peace of mind getting drives that are rated for 24/7 use. I have run my current configuration for about 6 months, but have realised that even with a 6TB pool, I am starting to run out of space... too many movies Twitter: @kammel109 https://twitter.com/kammel109/status/376809108789153792

    Any Redditors?

When I get bored at course I just come to reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/askreddit/ And laugh my tits off at some of the shit people say lol
  12. I had this fan controller a while back, great fan controller would highly recommend!
  13. OP mentioned about having a keyboard nice to type on, A Red switch Mech keyboard with O-Rings would be the most orgasmic experience possible for a typer
  14. That was only because he was under the impression that they were "loud" but with O-Rings they are dead silent and easily the best form of a keyboard you can get
  15. Ahh I gotcha. Just go to a local PC place and they might even give you one for free It should be automatic if there is only ONE operating system. Though if you go into the BIOS and find an option that says "Boot Priority" and set the SSD as first option to boot then that will always be selected first, but as I said. If you only have on operating system it doesn't matter
  16. A Cherry MX Red switch keyboard with some rubber O-Rings under the keys would be the quietest,
  17. Did you put your username in the box when you donated through PayPal?
  18. Any Sound card will work just fine. Just make sure you get the latest drivers for the card when you put it in and you'll be sweet
  19. Come man add some photos to this thread instead of linking it to a different thread on a different forum... lol
  20. Looks pretty good, apart from that horrid PSU, OCZ?!!!! I didn't know people still bought those anymore... lol Sleeved cables look great!
  21. Oh cable management you say? Easily my favourite thing to do to my build at the end! These are a few of my personal builds I have done over the last couple of years - -
  22. This is just "another" good 1080p IPS monitor. Have you thought about getting a Korean monitor? Can get a 1440p monitor that runs at 120hz for 400usd here http://www.ebay.com/itm/330931083652?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 Yeah it is a little bit more than what your budget allows but it is certainly worth the extra I can assure you! After using a 1900 x 1200 monitor and going to a 2560 x 1600 Korean monitor I can safely say that I will never go back to a lower res/smaller screen again. The things you should always spend the most on when doing your pc are; Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, Chair. Since those 4 are the things you are using all of the time it pays to get the best you can get.
  23. That pump sounds buggered. The impeller inside could have been damaged from being run dry so you should replace/RMA the pump
  24. For something which is super easy to use for someone who has no idea what they are doing I would recommend this free software here, used it heaps! http://download.cnet.com/EaseUS-Partition-Master-Free-Edition/3000-2248_4-10863346.html
