  1. Hey LTT, I recently pickrd up an HP Envy M6-N010dx with an AMD A10-5750m APU. I know a little bit about the APUs and how the graphics are dependent on system Memory. I currently have 6GB of ram which will run CS:GO at about 30-50 frames on medium settings. My question is, how much RAM would be best to maximize the performance of the APU on this laptop and is there anything else I need to know about APUs to get the best bang for my buck? Thanks in advance!
  2. The problem is that Gamers as a whole don't really know what a bad port is. A lot of gamers don't care enough to go "you know, I don't like having a game that's buggy or looks like it was textured with a mud brush, I'm not going to be buying it". Insread it's "hey that game is finally out here's my 60 dollars". It's being uneducated and not giving a crap.
  3. It is 600hz but again it's not the TV refreshing 600times a second but the pixels flashing on and of that fast. The link explains is better than I ever could.
  4. He's technically right. Plasma TVs are advertised at a 600hz refresh rate. This article explains how it works http://www.cnet.com/news/what-is-600hz/ but the gist is that its mostly a marketing term and has to do more with the way plasma televisions are designed and not how many images the TV can display a second.
  5. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2014/05/20/wolfenstein-new-order-pc-problems/ Some day 1 issues. Most likely sorted out by now. Posted from the other thread I created on this. I already petitioned it to be removed. Posting here instead: i7 with four plus cores when most games barely make use of dual core processors why does this game need a quad core processor let alone an i7? The last game I remember that "required" four cores was AC4:Black Flag and the game was modded to run on two cores with no problem*. They also fail to state a model number or clock speed so I guess any old i7 will work GeForce GTX 670 or equivalent with 4GBs of VRAM Unless this game is the next coming of graphical detail jesus I highly doubt you'll be needing 4GB of VRAM to make this game look any good. It's recommended that you have a lot of ram on your graphics card to make use of 4K textures, so why would this game that is also running on last gen consoles need 4GB of VRAM? 41GB install, seriously? Everything about this sounds like a terrible port. I would not recommend pre-ordering so that we avoid another Watch_Dogs incident.
