What I'd suggest is updating the motherboards BIOS and if you haven't wipe the old motherboard drivers and install the ones for 990fx board. To check if your psu is faulting just monitor your cpu clocks and volts in game if they are spiking or lower than they should be then it might actually be the psu. @xToFxREAPER

That is what people seem to be jumping to the conclusion of. What if his wife got cancer and they need the money to pay the medical bills? I don't see anywhere in the article describing exactly why he has to sell them, just that he has family matters that require him selling them.

Yea that is almost always the best option. You will get the newest features, performance increase, longer support for the card, and just generally better tech when sticking to the newest gen cards.

Don't even bother, buy either of the two cards you are thinking about and instead of buying another one just save up and buy a newer generation card that will be out by the time you save the money. Either of these cards will last you a minimum of a year so you have plenty of time.

AMD doesn't have any of the stupid fluff that is half broken that Nvidia does. AMD isn't locked down like a damn vault in terms of overclocking if you don't buy the right card. AMD doesn't have any stupid gpu boost 2.0 that flip flops your clock speeds around all over the place. I can go in and manually set things in .cfg files for AMD unlike Nvidia. All I know is I had FAR less problems with my 7950 than I have my gtx770 and the problems I did have were WAY easier to fix than my gtx770. I will give Nvidia props for having some cool features like shadowplay and such.

I'd personally take the 270x because I MUCH prefer AMD drivers at the moment.

You can get bf4 for like $20 right now (check the hot deals section) which is what I payed for it on launch and even with all the issues on launch it was worth $20 in my opinion. I very rarely play it but I enjoy it when I do.

Have you played Rifts endgame after the first content patch?

My top 3 at the moment are: Rift - For the classic WoW experience that still takes effort and thought and not a face smash. They have constant updates with new content and the questing isn't bad since there are a lot of things to break the monotony of it and the end game and raiding is amazing. ArcheAge - For an amazing open world sandbox mmo and great PVP and class system. Also has a great engine behind it so combat and everything is super responsive. Realm of The Mad God - For a absolutely ridiculous hardcore pixel mmo that will have you on the edge of your seat constantly and is a blast with friends. Also super addicting haha.

I have this same exact issue from upgrading from a 7950 to a gtx770. I've literally tried EVERYTHING besides doing a fresh install of windows which is what I recommend you try if that option is available to you. I've even flashed custom BIOS to my 770 and I even RMA'd it and nothing fixed it. And my specs are more than enough to handle a 770. @JayJohn Edit* also welcome to the forums.

I have absolutely no clue how you got the impression that I was assuming you got the photo off the internet, I was pointing out that you or immediate family were once active duty and should know the difference between a magazine and a clip. Slang is NOT officially part of the English language, whether or not American English was derived from slang still has nothing to do with what is officially accepted. Replacing magazine with clip does have beneficial effects for the press, the uneducated are more familiar with the word clip and not magazine. I promise you ask people and 99% of them won't know the difference. This comes into play for propaganda and for laws, if you take a soccer mom who knows jack shit about firearms and tell her that you want to ban "high capacity clips" in her mind she is imagining a magazine but little does she know that if a law went into place banning clips that that wouldn't do anything to magazines. You have to be aware that not everyone has served in the military and you have to open your mind and put yourself in someone else's shoes.

Also slang is not an official language or part of the English language so when speaking in terms of press which commonly misuse words or skew definitions for their benefit I prefer to be grammatically correct.

Glad the guy with the photo of a kid in the military doesn't even know what a clip is. It is not a removable magazine, it is a clip, a device used to hold multiple rounds of ammunition in a single unit to then be inserted into a integrated magazine or chamber.

And you take the crown for biggest closed minded slave of the day. Go educate yourself on what multiple "witnesses" that spotted the weapon on the floor said and then look at the picture of the weapon on the floor. Also every news agency is reporting the weapon was a "high powered rifle", the weapon used form pictures looked to be a ar-15, go educate yourself on the caliber round the ar-15 shoots and what is was designed to do.

I've been listening to live news for about 4 hours now and no body knows what happened, I've heard everything from 1 dead and 2 injured to 2 dead and 10 injured. At first they were saying the gunman was dead then they were saying he killed himself, now apparently he is in custody and seen in the back of a police car and then the last I heard he was in critical condition and a hospital. All of it is complete nonsense and it was staged by government for anti gun laws. Edit* AND I SWEAR TOGOD IF I HEAR SOMEONE SAY "CLIP" WHEN REFERRING TO A MAGAZINE ONE MORE TIME I'M GOING TO LOSE IT.
