  1. So 29in ultrawide is perfect for 1080p?
  2. It's £240. I can't find any 1440p ultrawide monitors for around the same price.
  3. Hi guys. I'm strongly considering getting one of these ultra-wide monitors for my setup, and I want to know your opinions on it. I will mostly be doing casual gaming, so what is it like for that?
  4. Ah, okay. They're the same as an AT2020 where I live.
  5. Have you looked in to the RODE NT-USB
  6. Still won't need 1000W. Newer parts are using less and less power.
  7. I'd say ikea is your best bet. Just get a table top you like the look of and some legs; it'll probably cost you sound 45 quid and some for delivery.
  8. Pretty sure he's sponsored by EVGA so he uses their stuff.
  9. Okay mate, I'll have a go tomorrow and let you know how I get on. Thanks for your help so far!
  10. We've tried taking everything out and putting it back in again and it's made no difference. The motherboard keeps switching from the two BIOS' as if it's looking for one that just isn't there? There aren't any beeps or error codes yet all the LEDs turn on and the CPU fan spins.
  11. Over the last couple of days I've been having a few issues with my new PC. Everything is wired up correctly yet it just won't start. Yesterday it would just constantly keep restarting. Today my Dad was getti pretty pissed off and as a last resort he took the battery out and put it back in. Now the motherboard will stay on, yet it will keep flicking between BIOS' and won't display anything on the monitor. Any ideas what could have happened? 12. I already own the 4690k, and it won't boot so I need to buy a CPU to update the BIOS. On the Gigabyte website it says the mobo supports the 4690k with the F9 BIOS so I bought it, but it won't post with the 4690k and as it's a Z87 my guess is that it needs a BIOS update. I already have tried the 4690k with it and it will turn on for 1 second then turn off again with it installed.
  13. I need to buy a CPU to update my motherboards BIOS, so before I check it can you make sure it will be able to post and allow me to update the BIOS. System: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/smallie/saved/zJxtt6 CPU: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646g1820 The CPU doesn't need to be fast at all or decent, just allow me to update the BIOS so I can use my 4690k.
  14. Do the issues in this thread here http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/290921-mobo-not-turning-on sound like something to do with it needing a BIOS update?
