GTX590 got a reaction from Chrysolite in Experiences with non-techies
This is incorrect. Molex>6/8pin is fine if the PSU is decent quality with a strong 12V rail. I ran a GTX 480 on a 450W 80+ Gold PSU running a molex>8pin and a 6pin from the PSU for 4 years on a mild OC. Has more to do with the PSU than the connector. -

GTX590 got a reaction from DSD27 in overclock fx 6300
FX-6300 already clocks up to 4.0GHz on turbo boost. It's best to overclock the turbo that way your only have the extra power when you need it and not 24/7.

GTX590 got a reaction from Puppet in SLI/Xfire 2x 7950's didn't work...
So this is a trick question. I have 2 7950's and running dual cards doesn't work. Both cards work fine, motherboard supports it, bridges work. So what is the issue? +1 for anyone that guesses!
