  1. Decided to upgrade from i5-4570 to i5-9400f. When putting the system together, forgot to plug in the 8pin cpu power. Motherboard and gpu lights came on and cpu fan starts spinning but obviously, it doesn't boot. After mini-panicking, found 8pin unplugged. So I turn off psu, unplugged and went to plug in the 8pin. However, it stopped working once 8pin cpu power got plugged in. Felt like it tripped something and the psu just powered off when I pressed the power button. Thought it might be cpu fault since motherboard lights was there, got a replacement and still same problem. Is this a psu or a motherboard problem? Or something else? Please help. 4. First post =D Wasn't gonna post but I was bored hahaha. I usually spend all my time reading Light Novels and posting on my local tech forums so I was never really keen on adding another forum to my watch list. There really isn't enough hours in a day. Would have loved to join you guys on the Game 24 event on stream but wasn't able to get time off ToT A pic of the more presentable side of my desk since I couldn't find anything more interesting. Taken with my soon to be replaced Note 2.
