I'd build my first intel rig and really love the extra treading power. being that I'm using A10 6800k FM2 it would be more than an upgrade haha just need the a new motherboard...hell yeah

Still love apu's though

I think your missing the point not everyone builds there own computers, and it's about advice you'll give a friend or someone you know, so unemployment is not wise

All very good advice thanks. I'm thinking of maybe going to uni myself next year and computer hardware enigneer is at the top of my list along with music. i agree it's about the people you meet too, it's the same for my music when i jam with friends. who knows maybe in the future i'll become the first rockstar pc builder haha

What would be your best advice to give someone that really wants to get started, either starting a computer repair or computer building company that only has the basic skills/real world skill of building computers and fixing them for friends and family. Keep in mind, this person may or may not have other training. eg Hardware engineer or Linda.com hahaha thread is purely hypothetical but i indeed on maybe helping people by asking

What card and how long, have you owned it ?

I would say trying new amd-catalyst-14.7-rc3-windows-aug12 driver or as it sounds like your CPU is doing more than GPU may help for future. thats all i can offer really. or finding a resolution timer software.
