So i was building a pc using asus h81m-k motherboard and when i came to the PSU part i found out that my PSU have only 8/6 PINs while the motherboard have 4 pin ATx power , how can get around this , i used the 6pin cable but the pc wont boot at all

most likely it's the cpu temp check the cpu temp from bios or download a software such realtemp if the fan works well you'll just have to apply a new paste

I had such a problem before replacing the RAM Solved it , One more thing if you are using a ram kit Don't plug both of them near each other leave one slot a plug the second one usually motherboards ram slot are color coded .

is the new kit same as the old one ?!! if not you probably have rams operating on different frequency/Voltage and that's what is causing the freeze

Hi I'm Trying to connect My Monitor AOC E2270Sw to my windforce gtx 970 . My monitor have VGA(d-sub) only so i bought a vga to dvi adapter for reference you can google it or check it here . when i do that the monitor stay black until my the windows screen (Desktop) appears if i try to check BIOS window i can hear the sound that i'm in BIOS but the screen is black i can see my GRUB ( dual boot) screen as well . any idea how can i fix that

Hey there ! So when i resized my HDD partition and turn off the pc when i try to turn it on it freeze on asrock splash screen and i can't acceses bios or do anything when i unplug my hdd the pc boot , I've tried my HDD on another rig and it work perfectly ... I've changed the SATA cable that didn't solve the problem also reseted my CMOS with Jumper so many times and that didn't solve my problem either i also tried to reset the DMI by unplugin the RAM HDD AND GPU and turning the pc on for a while and plugged everything back but still it didn't work ... i have no clue what to do next to fix it .. Note : Other HDD work on My Rig and My HDD work on other Rigs but my rig doesn't boot when my HDD is plugged my MB is asrock z87 killer , HDD is seagate 4tb

nop it's doing it again i deleted every unessecery software and runed Ccleaner more than once , and i'm using avast + malwarbyte to scan my system each time my pc goes to power saving mode ... and it's not the first time it's been 3 weeks now

It's not a laptop Sir ZefriniX it's a Pc and i made sure there is no other programs installed accidentally or preinstalled and i relly dunno if this problem goin to happen again or no
