Once, my mum connected her phone to her friends laptop, but due to other complications it didn't show up as a removable disk. Anyway, I went into my. Computer and she pointed to the c:/ drive and said 'is that it? I don't remember seeing that one before'. I found myself in another faceplam situation...

I have a sort of funny story:
My grandad has a laptop and doesn't really know much about computers (only how to go on the Internet and to play steam games). He had norton on it that kept telling him to backup his hdd, so ha called up my auntie to sort it out for him. It turns out that what she actually did was somehow tell norton to back up his c:/ drive, to the c:/ drive! When I highlighted this to her, explaining that it was completely pointless, she just shrugged and told me he had plenty of space... Crazy!

So today we spent a few hilarious minutes watching our teacher attempting to force the VGA lead of the projector into the serial port on his old toshiba laptop...

Unfortunately I don't know of any others, it's hard enough just to find monitors with a TB3 input

Apple operating system does not support DisplayPort MST, so the only way to daisy chain monitors is using the Thunderbolt daisy-chaining capability, so you need monitors with Thunderbolt input and output. It won't work with DP out.

    Hello,
this is my first attempt at doing a casemod, so i am trying my best   (and also please keep in mind that English isn´t my native language, so some phrases might sound a bit weird)

Since i always wanted something kind of unique as a case, i decided to pick up an old Mac, rip out its guts, and replace them with a real Pc. I really like the look of the old Powermac G4, kind of looks like a mixture between a Spaceship and a Toaster. My current pc is a µATX FX4300 with a gtx780, so i might upgrade there later on.

My plan is to make all fit together nicely andgive it a nice new paintjob.

About the shell "donor": With a baseclock of 400mhz, the original hardware clearly isn´t too impressive these days, but the case has a decent size and is made from zinc coated steel and some pretty though plastics. The whole thing was pretty loud, thanks to the stupid original cooling system. fun fact: it is actually older than me

I did not make any pictures from how it looked originally, since it was just a basic Powermac g4 graphite with a lot of dust.

I started with stripping away all the things i clearly won´t need anymore

Updates will defintely come, and feel free to comment below
