Wouldn't the hot glue melt when the PC is on? Are you trolling?

cloclo8003 got a reaction from rasesh in EVGA 980 ACX cooler led mod (need help)
I will order a new rig soon and I am planning to get an EVGA gpu (gtx 980) and I was wondering if it is possible and if it is easy to change the led to make it light up red instead of blue. I tried googling to see if anyone did it, and I didn't see anything related to what I was looking for.
Also, will this void my warranty? I heard EVGA has phenomenal support but I'm modding the cooler so I'm not sure.

I get the whole bezel thing, but when I saw my friends I noticed just how small the whole package was and again I was happier with my Spectre. Personal preference I would rather the new XPS 15 with zero bezel, that way you get a smaller form factor device and larger screen but device isn't smaller than a regular 13"- which I think is the perfect ultrabook size. XPS 15 if it wasn't so expensive would my ultimate choice now for a laptop.

But yeah, as someone else said, contact them right away, in my experience, dell do have good customer support, yet I had better experience with other companies support when I think how long you wait before someone answer the phone

Tell Dell and get them exchange it for a new one
I doubt a cracking sound is "normal" by any means - who in there right minds would sell a product that sounded like it was breaking every time you opened it. Unless its actually breaking. Dell typically has good support so I would be contacting them, ranting about quality and the fact that they refreshed them just after you bought one.

Nope mine is completely silent
seems like you got a defective one RMA or bring it to a dell store

Windows Privacy Information
We all know and love Windows 10 for its great features, but it has one MAJOR flaw. Privacy.
Microsoft has the ability to watch your every move. Each keypress is logged, all your files are available to Microsoft, location, system information, and
they're even listening to you! This information is all located in their lovely Privacy Policy that you agreed too. They have access to everything on your
operating system, even when disabling these "settings" in your Privacy Settings area. This now applies to Windows 7 and 8 with a recent update.
Do you enjoy being watched?
What is mPurge?
mPurge is a "program" or script I compiled to forcefully block Microsoft services. You will no longer be watched.
Purge those bloody spies!
Features
Block surveillance/telemetry communication.
Blocks Microsofts file access.
Removes logging services.
Removes OneDrive.
Instructions
Create a restore point in case something goes wrong.
Disable your Anti-Virus.
Extract mPurge from the ZIP file.
Run as Administrator.
Wait until the program has completed.
Continue to follow instructions below.
Latest version: 1.4.3
*Not yet tested on Windows 7/8
Download | Virus Scan
Your browser WILL pick the file up as malicious because it's a batch file.
I suggest using an alternative browser to download, or disable your browsers security
to download the file. It's safe though.
[spoiler=Additional ways to stop Microsoft (Windows 7/8/10) ]
After you've run mPurge, visit your Privacy Settings and disable everything as a back up.
Next, run PowerShell as an Admiistrator and paste the code below. This will remove bloatware.

If I assume the card used for the heat test was a stock, I guess 60 degrees is pretty good. I'm not getting a GTX 950, but it looks like budget builders have something to look forward to.

cloclo8003 reacted to LancerBG in Which Console Should I Get
with pc you wont miss a whole bunch from either sony or xbox. Frankly the only company pc cant touch is Nintendo. I always say its good to have a Nintendo box and PC. If you really need a current gen console I would go with xboxone only becuase microsoft is being very pc friendly lately and who knows what is to come down the pipeline.
