Why not use 99% isopropyl alcohol?

Isopropanol is only poisonous if ingested.  The worst it could do to your skin is dry it out.

    I'm a little confused.

Most people I've ever met use Isopropyl Alcohol - usually 99% or 70%. These are 100% safe to use on computer components, and are safe to use as long as you don't get it in your eyes, or swallow it. You can use hand protection, but that's not really necessary as long as you don't let it sit on your skin for more than a few seconds. It is a skin irritant though so, there's that.

I actually have never met anyone who has used ethanol alcohol to clean PC parts.

The more weab among us may recognize the above character's name, and for those who don't, she goes by Captain Marusa. In this scenario, she's stolen "your precious files," and the only way to retrieve them, instead of paying money to the developer of the ransomware, is to play Touhou 12 - Undefined Fantastic Object. Ok, easy enough, except you have to play the game on Lunatic mode and score 200 million points, which, if you've not played any of the games before, is incredibly hard (I never got past easy mode personally). As Ars Technica reports,
The original creator, Tvple Eraser, created the program as a joke, he had no genuine malicious intent with the program, however when he made to unfortunate decision to share the program's source code, that's when it became an issue. Tvple has since apologized on Twitter for releasing the program, and has released a second program designed to force the program to believe you've already reached the high score. Still, the issue remains, while Tvple has tried to do right, I don't doubt that modified versions exist and will continue to spread.

A new, "cut" version of the program has replaced the source code on Github since it has exploded, just to continue to show off the joke for those who are interested in the program, and Tvple has promised not to release anything malicious again.

    It's just a prank, bro.

Literally you just use rubbing alcohol.
You can buy a giant bottle of 99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol literally anywhere for like $4.99.
I think you're really overthinking it, you aren't drinking your CPU.

Maybe this was just me but this video was the most entertaining and engaging LMG video in a long time. I couldn't help but watch and think how well it was filmed and edited, it just seemed like a great deal of effort was put into producing it (relative to the usual amount of work LMG put into it). We all know Linus is watching this video.

I also just have to ask. What. The. Fuck. Was the whole bestiality question about?

Great video, but something I really want is like another "office moving vlog" where Linus or whoever would just like walk us through the changes and introduced all the new people ( because I believe some people didn't get a proper introduction and we've been seeing them for months.)

I have a Scrapyard Wars idea. Make a PC that is capable of Gaming, maybe $600? idk. But then turn it into a Demolition Derby Car, Add Wheels and a Motor, Shielding, weapons, whatever. Then fight to the Death. The Winner will be whos PC is still able to work, and drive.

Seriously, Take a pc case and mod it with motors and wheels. Take Lukes Flame thrower build and do the same thing and Cook the other PC, Maybe a Saw added to one of them. to cut the others in half. This will never happen but a cool idea.
