So last night I was unraveling my Macbook charger from its usual coiled state, and noticed a kink where the charging cable meets the power brick. I examined it, and like a dumb-ass, bent it the opposite direction. So now I have a semi-stripped cable coming out of the brick, and I don't know if it is dangerous to be exposed. I know a fair bit about PCs, but next to nothing about electricity and current. Is the charge coming out of the brick enough to zap someone if they step on it? or maybe create a spark?
Im planning on buying a new one, but I'd like to know whether or not to use it until then. (I can still charge my laptop, but only if I position it as shown in picture 2)
Thanks!
