  1. OK thank you for the help, but why would I need the SSD?

Slightly better performance in games, and faster booting times (if that matters to you)

Why also the change to an AMD video card?

The 960 isn't really the best GPU for the price, so a GTX 770 or 970 (a bit more expensive) would be nice. Some people prefer AMD cards, like the one R9 280x that I have works like a charm and is the one I would suggest if a 970 is too expensive.

  2. Fighterstick, flightstick, joystick, joypad... they're all the same genral thing

I have a CH Fighterstick, hasn't had any problems although it is a bit light and clunky. A little on the pricey side, but it does have tons of features (over 130 functions it says in the manual I think)

  3. I didn't know whether to put this in GPU or PSU, so its going here.

About a year ago, a good friend of mine named Miles bought a decent gaming PC from iBuyPower, and it's been getting the job done. Recently, he's found himself with a superfluous amount of cash after getting a job, and wants to make some upgrades. His z97 (exact model is in spec list) has only one PCI-e x16 slot, and eventually wants to add another GPU (GTX 770) He doesn't have an account, but wants to know whether he should:

    -Get a 980/980ti.

    or

-Get a better motherboard (with two PCI-e x16 slots) and (gold+ rating) PSU.

I've told him multiple times that his z97 is completely functional, and his 700w PSU is supplementary, but he wants to hear other points of view, if any. So; are two 770s better than a 980 (or worth it for that matter) in regards to "risking" his system with a 700w PSU and z97 mobo. He doesn't really know a ton about components but what are your opinions?

ALSO SIDE NOTE- iBuyPower made two mistakes on the part list, but really there is only one PCI-e x16, and the PSU is 700w (I checked it myself)

Highlighted in red are the mistakes.

SO Enthoo came out with their new case about 3 days after I made my initial post....

The Enthoo Pro M is everything I was asking for, with the shroud, 5.25" bay and plenty of cable management room. YAY

thank you guys for trying though

    lol

  5. i use usb disc reader. I think its better than a traditional optical drive. because u get more airflow and more room. the h440 is great. I love mine my only concern with it is the disk LED on the power button it shines so bright at night i put something over it because my room feels like a rave lol

    lmao

which reader do you use in particular?

  6. Is it normal to have 15 fps on Multiplayer low settings, and around 20 on ultra? I really want the absolute max fps i can get, and 20 really doesnt cut it....

I just got a new CPU from my pentium (see my signiture) and have a 280x... Is this normal?

I have arma on my HDD

  7. It's almost 100% up to personal preference. I highly recommend you go to a PC store and try out mechanical keyboards they have on display before you drop your hard-earned cash on an expensive keyboard. If there aren't any, you can buy one of these.

I've never seen that before, I will definitely get this product before a mech keyboard.

    thanks
