  1. 612's are better than both, but you'll need an amp if your motherboard doesn't have decent sound.
  2. I suggest reading the audio FAQ. Separate headphones and mic are better. You can grab a mod mic and some HD 518's.
  3. Using spell check would be a start For $50 I like the apple earpods. Brainwavz has some decent low priced IEM's.
  4. DT 880's and 990's as for the amp what motherboard do you have? The 558's have no bass so you probably won't like them.
  5. There should be a gloabl EQ in your onboard sound manager.
  6. Probably not, but plug the USB in the PS4 and see what happens.
  7. There are good monitors, but they don't come with a sub. There's not a good combo for that price. Your best bet is some 5'' monitors, they'll have enough bass you won't need a subwoofer. I use these at the shop - http://www.fullcompass.com/product/238886.html?utm_source=googleps&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=googleps&gclid=CjwKEAiAj-KiBRC48YzhnLSg0D0SJAClOhK3yja4_LII_ZGVB9KQsK2pl6GNxHJv2tEA55H0S3L2aRoClX3w_wcB They have more than enough bass.
  8. Eh, I would probably just not use any software. Most of it is built in the game anyway. As for headphone suggestions I'd grab some DT 990's or AKG K612's.
  9. You probably need one with a ferrite bead on it. Something like what we use - http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=103&cp_id=10303&cs_id=1030302&p_id=5449&seq=1&format=2
  10. No way, everything I dont like in gaming headsets in one product.
  11. Yup! And welcome to the forum.
  12. You'll get better sound, and a lower price if you just get wired. Most headphones come with a really long cable if you get up an move alot.
  13. Don't get your expectations too high. Audio quality and wireless don't go together. Just grab something from sennhesier. I believe it's the RS series.
  14. What headphones are you using? I suggest buying better headphones before upgrading the source. If you are new to audio, I suggest reading the audio FAQ at the top of the audio forums.
  15. Could've grabbed a $20 lepai to do the same thing
  16. You should be fine if they are in a seperate room and you are not listening to ear bleeding levels. Also each headphone is different on how much it leaks. HE-500's are very leaky, DT 990's/AKG k612's are less.
  17. I highly suggest you read the audio FAQ. If you really want the best you'll get a pair of headphones and a desktop mic. There are passible headsets, but nothing great. I really suggest getting something like AKG K612's or DT 990's + mod mic or a blue snowflake.
  18. Plug the mic into your motherboard before buying anything. Front input for mics tend to pick up a lot of noise.
  19. Please don't bump your posts, and no, there is nothing that would work for that situation.
  20. I have videos explaining why it's a waste of money. Any fake surround sound software is either built into the game or you can use free programs.
  21. No, Bose blows. This would be better. http://www.amazon.com/Parrot-Wireless-Cancelling-Headphones-Control/dp/B0081TH24O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1414931893&sr=8-1&keywords=parrot+zik+2.0 Pick your colors!
  22. Probably one of these 3 - http://headphones.com.au/psingle?productID=629 http://headphones.com.au/psingle?productID=834 http://headphones.com.au/psingle?productID=96 Those will sound better than the 50x. My vote goes for the 700x.
  23. Don't waste your money on a sound card. My vote goes for DT 770 80 ohms or K612 pro's.
