    It's not great. You can really hear it when you max it out. And from personal experience it doesn't even drive my AKG K612's loud enough.

    No, its a sale price. Which is funny because their sale price is still more expensive than our normal price lol. We had the same model for $199 on our sale.

    They'll sound roughly the same but the 250 ohm will need an amp.

    Those are pretty cheap. I paid $100 for my HE-500 cable and they are a lot cheaper to make then HD800's.

    No use trying to argue. If people think they can hear something that's not there, let them. Just put the information out there and the smart ones will follow.

    Exactly. Yes FLAC is better scientifically. Audibly with headphones of any price range? No. You can show me graphs and science all day. Until you do a blind test with 80% or higher score, it doesn't really matter in real life. Speakers may be a different story as there are a lot more factors involved then 2 small speakers milmieters away from your ears.

    612's are far more comfortable. And they have slightly more bass if that's your thing. (They're also cheaper).

    You might not like them then. He likes treble and not bass. I'm the opposite though. I wish I could be more helpful with IEM's but I don't have a lot of experience.

    I don't like sennheiser either, I know where you are coming from. You'd like something like the DT 990's, but you'll need an amp. X1's are also an option.

    Both are fantastic. The dt 990's do need an amp. The X1's need amping as well, but not as much as the 990's.
