  1. Rig: NoNameVRKiller CPU: Intel 4790K @ 4.6Ghz GPU: AMD R9 290 @ 1090Mhz (Red Mod) Mem: 4 x 4Gb Corsair Dominator @ 2Ghz
  2. From what I understand the 980 is using the full maxwell die so where will the Ti come from?
  3. Haswell CPU? Power supply? If it is Haswell and a no name or even older Brand PSU then it down to the C7 sleep state this is only compatible with newer PSU's thankfully you can disable this in the BIOS you will have to check where as you didn't leave any details
  4. Your board is the size of a Micro ATX see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_form_factor will this be a problem as I see you intend buying an ATX size board? It seems a shame to give up on your original, so you could try these few things. You could try standard DDR 3 1333 Ram {cheap as chips} these should fit fine. Try unplugging all HDD and all peripheral cards (in an effort to get the cause) Can you reach the BIOS in any mode i.e. Video Card out or chipset (Mobo) out? I guess not, but in my experience bad RAM is the most prevalent cause of no video out, also not booting. CMOS can manage on it's own (not use system RAM) until it hands over to the operating system (the next stage of the boot sequence, where you seem to fall over).
