  1. Just spotted this on my news feed. I really hope they have more of a plan than this patent is letting on. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-09-18-nintendo-patents-controller-with-shoulder-scroll-wheels
  2. The i5 is almost £200 on its own though and I have a feeling its way overkill for what im going to be using it for
  3. im looking at trying to keep it below £500 as I already have a 970 for it. As its going to be pretty much a disposable system im looking to get best performance for price I can. As i said 6 months and im going to sell it anyway. I have no use for another gaming rig
  4. Im currently looking at building a console sized machine I can game on while im away for 6 months. Its currently a toss up between either an a10 6800K black edition or an i5-4690K. It will be used with a 970 and only on a 1080p TV so im wondering will i be better off with the APU in terms of price to performance? If anybody is interested it will be going in either rvz01 or rvz02 (if its released in time) p.s. I fully intend to sell the build when I get back as I have no other use for it. TIA
  5. My day has just gone out with a bang. my EVGA 970 FTW decided to take up smoking, im just trying to figure out if it is the gpu that has caused it or the mobo Has anybody had this happen to them before?
  6. Never mind, I worked it out using a multimeter and some patience
  7. I dont suppose anybody has the pin-out for the aforementioned PSU, im stuck with two identical pci cables with different cable configs sorry i meant NEX750G
  8. Would having the airflow from the 2 120mm fans on the front of the case be enough to keep 2x 970s cool enough to prevent thermal throttling
  9. Does anybody here run 2 970's in sli using the gryphon board? if so what are the temps like on the top card? Im wanting to see if anybody has any problems before I order my second 970
  10. A new reader is more like $100 and they are impossible to find over here in the UK
  11. it reads an SA309 card for an embroidery machine
  12. Basically to cut it short my Gf's mother has asked if i could try and get her ancient brother card reader running on her Win7 laptop so she can finally retire her old one which is running win98. The problem is it doesn't use USB but uses SR232 Serial which I cant seem to find much info on, i have tried an adapter to convert it to USB but it still wont identify the device. Any ideas on what i could try would be appreciated (The reader reads/writes SA309 cards if that helps)
