you might be running your audio output in mono. that would probably be third party audio software on your computer or your headphones could be plugged into the wrong 3.5mm jack on your computer causing your computer to think its something other than a pair or headphones. check your software and make sure its set to stereo and then try using the headphones on something other than your computer to see if its a headphone hardware problem or a computer software problem. if its hardware get a new pair of headphones. if its software try to uninstall your driver then restart windows. good luck

So I recently bought a tiny extremely low power laptop for a very small amount of money in order to use as a sort of entertainment system I can hook up to some speakers and play music on. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I need to use Linux, preferably an extremely lightweight version of Linux with some sort of GUI that displays the album art for the song that is currently playing. being able to connect to youtube to play music with some sort of lightweight application would be cool as well otherwise I could just use a USB stick with music on it plugged directly into the machine (or some sort of music server setup). any help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance.

i need a new mouse because my mouse has built in acceleration and angle snapping and it is getting annoying. also i dont have a job to buy a new mouse
