  1. I have no ad block. but for some reason, I have never had ads on Twitch. I have YouTube Premium but live on youtube sucks Just why is there so much wasted space?!?! I have not used float plane to be fair but I guess most people who watch use Twitch or YT
  2. Its a work machine. Think I might have solved it with Groupe policy changes Thank you for the help tho
  3. I need some help figuring out why I have to login to windows after about 20 minutes of idle time I have a laptop with closed lid on a dock connected to two displays. I have set all the power options to never turn off any screens nor go to sleep. This is working as screen 1 never turns off and screen 2 just goes black from being on the lock-screen This is on a work computer logged in with a Microsoft Office 365, Exchange account. I do have local administrator privileges I have tried looking in the group policy manager but I'm not very familiar with this. any help appreciated
  4. Soooo, I assume it will appear on the front page of LTTstore.com right? Good luck guys and gals
  5. You don't think the R5 1600 will bottleneck new GPUs to much? that is my only worry. don't rly get benchmarks with old CPUs.
  6. Well, might as well start with one at a time. no? everything will upgrade in time, but where to start. Will new GPUs be too bottlenecked by the R5 1600? can I go 1440p with what I have?
  7. Budget (including currency): 500USD/4500NOK Country: Norway Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: casual RPG (cyberpunk 2077) gaming with tons of tabs open in the background/second monitor with streams Upgrade options: MSI B350 Tomahawk with Ryzen 5 1600 ---> B550 with Ryzen 5 5600X GTX 1070 ---> RTX3070?/ AMD radian equivalent? Samsung SyncMaster S27B350 (1080p@60Hz TN) ---> 1440p@144Hz (Asus TUF VG27WQ)something like that or ultrawide like Gigabyte G34WQC & Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34" Struggling to decide what to upgrade first
  8. Guess I'll just wait for someone to review the Asus TUF VG27WQ (hopefully RTings) to see if the blacks are good and there is no light bleed issue. I think a VA panel is the best fit for me. My priority list is: - Low light bleed ( VA is best. But problem with the curved VA?) - Deep blacks (VA is best) - Colour (IPS is best) - Response time (TN is best. But most 27" 1440p >144hz are 1-5ms) - Refresh rate (TN is best. But almost all the 27" 1440p are >=144hz) HDR is a bag of worms, look for VESA DisplayHDR™ and be careful with manufacturer BS HDR marketing. Thx for the input guys.
  9. So I've been looking at monitors the last 2 days, what I keep hearing is HDR400 "isn't real HDR", "is bad", etc. but is it not better then the monitors with no HDR that advertise 300 or 350 nits? some examples: Asus TUF VG27WQ V MSI Optix MAG272CQR these two are both VA panels, The Asus advertise HDR400 (400cd/m2) and the MSI advertise 300cd/m2 "HDR ready" what ever that means. This is all to do with the backlight, is it not? Anyways I'm getting tired of my old, cheap and light bleeding TN. Edit: another thing. most places say VA has great Black uniformity and little light bleed, at least on TVs. But most of these 27" curved 1440p VA monitors seam to have bad black uniformity and more light bleed. anyone have any insight on this?
  10. Solved Sorry for wasting everyones time, but after much testing I found a faulty memory module. I just didn't think it would show up in the BIOS and/or Windows if it was faulty. I now have 24GB usable Thanks for all the help anyways
  11. Hello I have 2x(2x8GB) RAM modules installed in my MSI B350 TOMAHAWK with a Ryzen 5 1600 running Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit. first thing I noticed was Windows showing 16GB usable, then I see 16GB Hardware Reserved. (This means windows can see that there is 32GB total installed, wich is confirmed by CPU-Z showing 32768MBytes). So I check my BIOS to confirm that there is 4x8GB installed, and yes it shows 4 DIMMs in use with 8GB in each. But where it shows total memory it says 16GB(16384MBytes). This is what I dont get, why can the motherboard recognise all 4 DIMMs but not accept 32GB of RAM They are all the same serial number Here are som pics
  12. Okey, so I've bean doing some more trubleshooting and found that if I try opening Edge I get an explorer.exe error saying "class not registerd" and after trying to run this command - regsvr32 ExploreFrame.dll I get this I then tryed sfc /scannow, this did not find any thing. Now I'm complliteley out of ideas
