    I did. That's the first thing i thought too... but i just don't want to admit it's dead lol. It wasn't only me, that's the weird part actually .

    HI, I've owned this laptop for over two years now. It worked flawlessly until i decided to change boot order and voiala, a bricked bios appeared. I then decided to buy a new bios chip and solder it just like a lego piece lol. Before replacing the bios chip, there was no post, hardware was still working(fans, hdd,backlit). After replacing the bios chip the laptop wont even try to turn on. The only thing that seems to work is the charging light when the ac adapter is plugged and if i press the power on button i can see the charging light flicker, but that's all. I bought the bios chip on ebay (http://www.ebay.es/itm/400714035114?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) and took the laptop to a local store. The soldering looks fine to me(Maybe it is just a doa chip?)So.. i would like some help here . I can't upload pictures of the original and replaced bios cause linux seems to be mad at my phone lol. .
