  1. The winners have been chosen! The winning numbers are: 6 - "The Geeker" wins Sir, You Are Being Hunted. 7 - "Puuro" wins Q.U.B.E 11 - "Northmountain" wins Goodbye Deponia (https://imgur.com/a/4zPW0) I will PM the winners the steam keys! Thank you to all who participated.
  2. Actually, they're just supposed to reply and they get a game at random once the thread hits 50 individual replies if their reply # gets picked.
  3. I'm gonna do a giveaway because I don't like the fact that someone just stole these keys. Here's the link to the thread.
  4. Since people like to grab things as soon as they see them like in the previous thread, I think i'll give away some steam keys from the newest Humble Bundle. They're not the absolute best, nor are they the same games that the original thread had, but hopefully they'll be fun to whoever receives them. The games are: Sir, You Are Being Hunted Q.U.B.E.: Director's Cut Goodbye Deponia I'll give away the codes once this hits 50 replies! I'll be using random.org to choose the winners. Reply to this thread to enter! One game per winner only. One entry per person. Multiple entries to this thread disqualifies you from the giveaway. EDIT: You are only supposed to reply once. The games will be given away at random once this post hits 50 individual replies (excluding multiple replies and my own.) Choosing the game isn't part of the giveaway. If you win and you don't want the game you win, give it to a friend or tell me and I will re-pick the winners. EDIT 2: I am going to stop the giveaway by 3:05 PM MST even if this thread doesn't get to 50 replies.
  5. Already gone. Dang. You should do a giveaway next time you have keys! I'm sure it'd be more entertaining.
  6. I don't necessarily need this mouse, but I definitely would love to give it a try and see if it's better than my Logitech g502, as it's a bit heavy.
  7. I actually think that younger kids being able to play mature rated games with older adults is more destructive than playing the game itself. It's dangerous on both parties. (Sorry for double posting)
  8. As techswede said, the ratings are more of a recommendation for the parents. I see nothing wrong with them. I wouldn't want a 10 year old playing GTA V though. It just doesn't seem appropriate to me given that there is so much mature content in the game.
  9. I personally use the WDN4800 (The first PCI-E Card you linked) and I love it. Have yet to have any issues with the card. I recommend it.
  10. I disagree, I am actually quite happy with my ISP.
  11. http://www.speedtest.net/local/philadelphia-pa (Check out this link to see some information on the ISPs near you.) Sadly Google Fiber isn't available in your area. I recommend looking at FiOS. Comcast is known for having horrible customer service and for ripping people off, but if you're fine with that then it's a good one to go with if you can't get FiOS.
  12. It depends on your location and what ISPs are available nearby. If you live somewhere that has Google Fiber, go for that no matter what it takes. (lol)
  13. It seems to be more of a network issue, what are your UP/DL speeds? Also, the game has only been out for a week, optimizations will continue to come out as well as bug fixes. Being patient is your best bet.
  14. You should be able to play the game on low to medium settings getting at least 30 FPS (Probably around 45 FPS).
  15. If you plan on gaming, I would upgrade the GPU (but upgrade the CPU as soon as you can after buying the GPU).
  16. Does it give you the error (code)?
  17. Just because you took some parts from a list and put them together to make a fast computer does not mean that you have some sort of trademark/patent on the build. He could very easily have made his own build with the same specs just because he saw how good they ran for you, and it would be dumb for him to not go with the best performance because he fears that it would be "copying" you. Peripherals may be slightly different but you can't expect that since you bought a new PC, a new mouse, monitor, keyboard, etc. that you just pissed on the entirety of pcpartpicker and everyone who uses the same thing as you is copying you.
  18. Will fix, but that reply was not helpful nor necessary...
  19. Hello! I am trying to upgrade my memory on my PC, and I have a question: Would I be able to mix these two x2 8GB modules: http://www.amazon.com/PNY-1600Mhz-Desktop-Memory-Module-MD16384KD3-1600-X9/dp/B00D1IUEHW/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1429246271&sr=1-4&keywords=16+gb+ram with my current x2 4GB modules: http://www.amazon.com/G-SKILL-Ripjaws-1600MHz-PC3-12800-F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM/dp/B004KY719A/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1429245970&sr=1-1&keywords=F3-12800CL8-8GBXM for a total of 24 GB? Would that be problematic? Thanks in advance.
  20. *Edit: I was a dumbass. Ignore my message please.*
  21. I heavily advise against a USB adapter. If you can do a PCI-E Network Adapter, I recommend the TP-Link TL-WDN4800. I personally use this card and it has never let me down. If you have to do a USB adapter, I'd go with the TP-Link TL-WN722N. 22. The FTL Soundtrack and the Starbound Soundtracks are the best two gaming soundtracks imo.
  23. You could clone the drive or make an iso, etc, but there's not a gurantee that it'll work well as OEM licenses lock to the mobo (There will be a drastic hardware change as well that could cause problems down the road.) You can get a really cheap Windows license over at https://www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap/
