  1. Unfortunately I don't have a second PC to test the adapter but the SSD works fine. Could it be a Intel RST Driver issue? I've been looking into in for a few hours but I can't get any solid information. I'm scared to change the driver because I don't want the one I'm using now to stop being recognised. I tried to load the newest recomended Intel RST driver from HP page with a bootable windows USB and load driver method while "installing", but it gave an error after tying to install for a few minutes. Alternatively how can I connect the drive?
  2. @KeDoBro I can't see the SSD inside the OS so I can't assign a letter to it. @kokosnh I have a GPU in the x16 slot and no iGPU, so I can't put the SSD in the x16 slot to test.
  3. Bump... any Idea how to fix it? Also if not in this configuration, can I buy a sata ssd enclosure and put my NMVe drive in it or it won't work with sata?
  4. I have a HP prebuilt, I wanted to install an additional SSD, I have an open PCIe x1 slot, so I bought a PCIe x1 to m.2 adapter but I can't see the drive in an OS. In BIOS hardware diagnostic, the drive appears and passes the tests, but in a OS (Windows 10 or Linux) the drive is not recognized. Additionally, when booting it takes a really long time (3-4 min) to get to the bootloader. When disabling the PCIe x1 slot (where the adapter and SSD are) it boots immediately. Any idea what is going on? SSD: Intel 660p Adapter: RYRA 1pc NVMe PCIe M.2 NGFF SSD To PCI-E X1 Adapter Motherboard: Baker 8767
  5. Hello, due to the GPU crisis I recently bought an HP prebuilt. It's a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1306ng. It had a lot of issues but most are now resolved, I just can't get the system to charge the usb ports when its shut off, nor can I find any information if the motherboard doesn't support it. So I'm asking for any help or information. The motherboard is Baker Rev A M11, SSID 8767, the bios version is F.31. I tried all the fixes online I could find, I don't have any options for it in the bios or the hp omen gaming hub, outside of the windows "USB selective suspend setting" (which doesn't do anything). Any help is greatly appreciated. P.S. DO NOT EVER. BUY THIS PIECE OF SH*T. Thermals are abysmal, software extremely limiting and that's just the start.
  6. I just posted the same thing, tell me if you find the solution lol :')
  7. So the drop was an hour and a half ago, i managed to get in pretty fast and I've waited in queue till I got to the 1st place. Then the box changed to "Loading product data..." and its been like that for 30 minutes. What do I do? Is it really loading or is it stuck. I don't wanna lose a gpu over this. Can I refresh the page or will that kick me out?
  8. I just updated both my win 10 and my amd drivers on my laptop. After the updates, any apps that I launch start in their native resolution (ect. 800x600) and dont scale with the 1080p display. Furthermore if I try to enable virtual super resolution, windows again doesnt scale with the display but rather goes outside the display (i can only see a part of the whole screen). I checked all the settings both in amd radeon settings and in windows setting and all have scaling enabled, but frankly i have never encountered this problem so i could be doing something wrong. Please help i need this fixed fast. Thank you R5 2500U + Vega 8 Win 10 1903, KB4515384 Radeon software 19.9.2
  9. Im in the process of upgrading my GPU. Took the old one out, putting the new one in a few days. So currently im without a GPU. I hooked up the monitor with the motherboard and turned on the pc but no post on the monitor. All the peripherals are turned on, working fine I assume. The monitor and the cable both work, tested on another system. I dont know am I doing something wrong or whats going on. Please help and thanks in advance Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H Hookup is VGA (currently the only cable i have except for DisplayPort)
  10. Thank you all for such a quick reply
  11. Im thinking about upgrading from my gtx 960 to gtx 1060. My question is would I be able to just switch them without anything else or would I have to change something else too. And would my cpu possibly bottleneck it. PSU: fsp hexa+ 500w MB: gigabyte ga-h97-d3h CPU: i5 4460 8gb ram
  12. That could maybe even work, ill see what is faster. Anyways thank you all for the answers
  13. So I accidently tripped and fell on my galaxy S6. Both the front and back glass panels are shattered. LCD screen is presumed dead considering it's all black. But the phone still works, I'm getting notifications and its recognised by the PC. Problem is, I can't transfer data from the phone without unlocking it. And I can't unlock it because the screen is broken. I've tried to mirror the screen and control the phone with my PC but it looks like I don't have USB debugging on. So what options do i have?
