Keysandrew's Achievements

  1. After 1.8 was released, optifine and alot of other mods are either behind or, (in optifine's case) very buggy and unstable.
  2. So I could adjust the levels? And does it support MFAA?
  3. I heard something about using Nvidia Control Panel but I'm not sure if that works.
  4. Minecraft is a great game, but how can I avoid the aliasing that comes with the blocky textures? Mipmap doesn't help much, and Astrophic Filtering is no longer supported, how can I get some Anti-aliasing with out using mods?

  6. This all started when my webcam stopped working and now when ever I try to restart my computer crashes, and when ever I try to shut it down, windows will shut down almost instantly and my actual system will stay on (fans, lights, etc) in which I will have to unplug my power cord from my p.s.u., but then it still stays on as the blue lights on my motherboard will stay on and so will my mouse's led's. When my computer crashes on restart, it says to look up "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE" in which I cannot find a single fix, when I look in my event logs, it gives me "Kernel-Power, #41", also no fix. I cannot install any updates to my drivers such as Ge force Experience, Steam, etc. I thought that it might have been a miss-installed driver for the webcam, but when I try to uninstall it (this go's for any of the updates I can't install either) the progress bar stays frozen forever unless I restart explorer.exe. I cannot access the devices and printers part of my control panel. When I check in the computer settings menu in windows 8.1 it says that the device app is not installed, and it wont let me delete the device from there either. Please help me.
  7. CCleaner does the same thing control panel does.
  8. This all started when my Microsoft Life cam 5000 stopped working and it would spam the USB identification noise over and over again until I unplugged it. When ever I shut down my PC, windows will shutdown, but my system will stay on and the fans, lights, mouse and keyboard will still be running. When I forcefully shut the system down by holding down the power button, a blue light on my MSI X99 PLUS motherboard stays on and my Tt-esports mouse's light stays on. Not until I physically remove the power cord from my power supply and plug it back in does my PC shut off correctly. When ever I try to uninstall or install something on my system it will be stuck on the 'initializing' progress bar and it will show no progress. Whenever I try to access my devices and printers part of the control panel, it freezes and wont stop until I restart file explorer via the task manager. Whenever I try to restart my system, it will be stuck on the 'restarting' screen until windows 8.1 crashes and gives my the error 'DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE' and then windows forcefully restarts. I think the cause of all this is that the drivers for my Life cam where not installed correctly and it screwed my hole system up. I want to uninstall the drivers for life cam but whenever I try to do it, I get a empty progress bar every time no matter what method I try. Does anyone know the solution to this problem? None of the front panel connectors work either (one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, one audio in and mic in). Everything else on my system works, thanks for trying to help!
  9. Wow Linus guys I have to thank you. without being on Youtube I would know the first thing about building a computer Your build guides are what helped me the most and I was wondering if you where ever planning on ever reviewing an Alienware system in the future? Your videos helped me so much and led me to do some computer tinkering myself. I had a really crappy HP Pavilion as my computer for a while, but then I got more RAM and a brand new GTX 650 ti Boost super clocked graphics card that helped me significantly. I even did it for my school science fair and got an A+! I hope you guys have a long prosperous life time and I hope to see guys here on the internet for years to come! By the way, Keysandrew didn't come from Keys, it came from me acutely living in Key Largo, so I just thought if I combined my real name with where I live it would make a cool username! Also I'm currently a freshman in high school and hoping to getting a job with computer engineering, got any tips?
